I want to start off saying that I'm only doing this because I want to be portraying Vincent Draper to the best of my ability.
And, okay, 'little Vince' is completely different. He's at the stage before he began his psychotic tendencies. He is just a sweet, loving, child who is scared and confused in this terrible place. He's an innocent, timid boy in that form(inside and out).
Now, as for 'big Vince' he's obviously different. Way different. He's post psychotic meltdown and brain alteration or whatever.. So he's (as i've described him before) a psychopath.
So this is the description of 'imagining you were a psychopath'...
"Imagine - if you can - not having a conscience, none at all, no feelings of guilt or remorse no matter what you do, no limiting sense of concern for the well-being of strangers, friends, or even family members. Imagine no struggles with shame, not a single one in your whole life, no matter what kind of selfish, lazy, harmful, or immoral action you had taken.
And pretend that the concept of responsibility is unknown to you, except as a burden others seem to accept without question, like gullible fools.
Now add to this strange fantasy the ability to conceal from other people that your psychological makeup is radically different from theirs. Since everyone simply assumes that conscience is universal among human beings, hiding the fact that you are conscience-free is nearly effortless. "
So, pretty much...He's completely clueless as to how normal people feel. He doesn't know what it feels like to 'love' or 'feel bad' or anything like that. All he knows how to do is act, act like he's normal and no one even bats an eye because they just automatically assume he really is. But he's not. EvenItend to forget sometimes. He's never been shown natural human emotions like 'loving and caring', I might add.
