"I am quite lonely. How did everyone manage to slip off without me coming along?"
"There is so much to do and see in Paris and yet I am completely and utterly bored."
Oh that's alright! I just took a chance. Haha! My friend refuses to make a RP account but she said if she did make one, she'd make a Reinette account. I thought maybe she'd given in. And it's nice to meet you too! :)
{~outofclocks~}
Oh, I see. Well, lovely to meet you Nonnie! If you ever want to RP you can just come back to my ask box or go here as well.
Does your mun's name happen to be Savannah by any chance?
{~outofclocks~}
No, sorry. I’m Maddy! It’s a pleasure to meet you, Nonnie, whomever you are.
I don’t know a Savannah either. Oi. I’m not very much help am I? Well..here’s a goofy gif of Darren Criss for your troubles.
Right in the fucking feels man.
Rose sighed as she hid, looking at the vortex manipulator on her wrist and vanished as soon as she was hidden. The Doctor let out a small laugh. “Yeah, me and my manners aren’t the best around you are they?”
When she mentioned the sadness in his eyes, he shook his head. “Its nothing to worry about Reinette…Don’t worry.” he smiled as she rested her hand on his cheek. “I….lost a friend of mine…that’s all. Besides, I promised you I show you a star didn’t I?”
Reinette gave a small smile as he barely laughed. "Never the best, but your personality seems to do wonderfully in making up for it." She tilted her head to the side a bit as he said that whatever was making him sad was nothing to worry about. "I always worry about my friends, but I worry about you the most." She said, looking into his eyes.
She knew the loneliness he felt ever since he went into her mind. Such a lonely boy.
Her lonely Doctor.
"What is lost can always be found, even in the smallest of ways." She said, leaning up to kiss his cheek. She wondered if maybe Rose was what he had lost. She glanced over to where she had been hiding and her eyes widened slightly.
The girl was gone.
"If you are saddened, we do not have to go. Earth is just as good as any star as long as you are here with me. I do not want you to fulfill this promise out of pity."
"Oh don't mind me, just passing through..."
"It's you again." Reinette said looking the blonde woman up and down. "Passing through is a dangerous thing for you, is it not?"
Rose nodded. “I know it sounds crazy but…Its the truth.”
"Reinette?" Called the Doctor’s voice from the hall as his footsteps came closer. Rose looked over at Reinette and smiled.
"He can’t know I’m here." Rose whispered and found somewhere to hide as the Doctor knocked on her door before walking in his his slim smile.
"Reinette, you’ve gotten more beautiful since I saw you last…" There was a small look of sadness in his eyes, as he knew her future. "Sorry I’m late…" he apologized
Reinette pondered the thought for a moment. She had seen so many crazy things in her life and that was true, so why couldn't this be the truth too? She sighed quietly before saying, "I believe you."
Reinette couldn't help the smile that broke out across her lips and the undeniable fluttering in her chest. She turned towards the door for a moment before Rose was speaking again. "Why not?" She asked, confusion lacing her expression. She watched her quickly disappear and hid. It was as if she hadn't been here at all.
She settled herself for a moment before turning to the door and gave the Doctor a smile as she would for anyone else if they found her after the girl hid. No one could know her secrets, for if they did they could use them against her. "And you, my lonely Doctor. It's quite rude, you have not aged a single day." She said, giving him a teasing smile. "Haven't aged a single day," She repeated, "And yet you look to be..sad. Mourning something." She observed. "My Doctor, you've come back to see me. Why are you saddened?" She asked quietly, walking over to him and putting a hand to his cheek, ignoring his apology.
Rose smiled. “I know the Doctor quite well. There’s still some things I don’t know. The Doctor’s very….private about it.” Rose then turned and faced Reinette. “Hm. Must mean the TARDIS, that’s the Doctor’s ship that he sees the stars with, translating. That’s something the TARDIS does. It translates languages to English.” Rose then sighed quietly. “How long has it been since we saw you last Reinette….?”
Reinette nodded, "Most men are." She said, looking over at her friend. "So you're speaking in English?" She asked with a scoff. It was so hard to believe because her French was on the brink of perfect. It was as if she had lived in Paris all her life, or maybe that was what his machine, what did she call it? The TARDIS?, maybe that was what the machine wanted her to think. "He's come back for you." She said, giving Rose a sad smile. "For me, that horrible day where my nightmares came alive was only a few months ago. Many of the guests are still shaken up about it and refuse to come near me. Or they just think me mad." She said, looking down. "Let me guess, for you it's only been a few hours? Maybe minutes?"
Rose looked over at her friend and frowned slightly. “I truly think he will. I know the Doctor and he keeps his promises.” Rose then walked next to her, and looked out the window trying to change the subject. “It is quite beautiful here”
"How much do you know about the Doctor exactly?" She said. "It's just a curious question. I mean, the man talks so much and yet he says next to nothing about himself." She said as a wisp of a smile appeared on her lips, remembering the last time she saw the lanky man.
Reinette saw Rose look out the window and over the landscape of her property, well the property that she would inherit anyway. "Paris. Home of the French and the most gorgeous place on the planet, or so I believe." Her eyebrows creased for a moment. "You can understand me, yes? Do you speak French?" It seemed odd that the girl from the future knew French, not that it wasn't possible but she couldn't possibly know every single language. It would make the poor girls head explode. So how did the Doctor know it all?
Rose gave a small smile. “Reinette it is then. I’m sorry I never told you my name, things had been a bit crazy.” Frowning Rose shook her head. “No…After he saw you after jumping through the time window, he came back and…you weren’t with him. Then he closed the windows for good…I’m sure he’ll come back for you Reinette. He always keeps his promises.”
Reinette nodded in agreement, "The situation was a bit hectic." She looked over the girl. She had pondered the thought of the Doctor coming back for a while. Every night she would look up at the stars and pick out the same one, wondering if he was up there flying around the stars. "My dear, he has to come back for you first and I doubt he'll be taking me with him when he does." She glanced out the window longingly. "I feel he will not be able to keep this promise, even if he keeps every other one.." She trailed off.
Rose slowly walked around, not sure as to how she’d found her way back to 18th century France. “Madame de Pompadour….Its Rose….” Rose said. “I’m sorry for barging in like this, but I haven’t the slightest idea as to why I’m here.”
Reinette turned around as a voice said her name, her official name. It was a voice she had heard once before on that fateful day, oh so long ago or so it felt like it. "I never did learn your name the first time you were here." She commented to the other woman standing across the room. "Better late than never some say."
"Also, please do call me Reinette. Madame de Pompadour is a mouthful to say every time you wish for my attention. At least Reinette is a tad bit easier." Her eyebrows creased when the younger woman said she wasn't sure why she was here. "The Doctor did not bring you then?" She questioned, looking at her in a surprised manner.

"Why does everyone insist on sneaking up on me today?"
"I’ll try that." Clara walked into the kitchen and poured herself a cup of tea and put some honey into it and stirred it up. She walked back in and sat down across from the woman. "Sorry, have I met you before? You seem really familiar."
Reinette looked over the woman in front of her. "I do not believe we have." She said as the other sat down. "However, it is a pleasure to meet you. You can call me Reinette. What may I call you?"
"I hate being sick."
"Have you tried any hot tea? I always have honey added to mine. It tastes splendid!"

Reinette was turned facing the window, watching as the bright spring day slowly started to turn to dusk. She heard footsteps approach her from behind and her back stiffened considerably. "If you are the demons from my childhood I order you to stop where you are, if you are not I apologize for that outburst and please ask you not to sneak up on me like that again. It's impolite of you just to enter a lady's room without knocking so may I ask why exactly do you need?" All while she spoke, her face was looking outside, refusing to meet the eyes of whomever just entered the room.
