July looks to be a more 'visible' month in comparison to June. New opportunities, travel, connections (as well as possible re-connections) We see more community, celebration and public recognition.

Some readers are actually back with the narrative of an indecisive Hudson and poor Connor hurting but still waiting for him. Also, that the concept of ohana is part of a big PR. I will not be surprised if there is another full campaign he will be in + talks of brand ambassadorship because Hudson fits Balenciaga so much in terms of branding even beyond fashion. I started to realize the ingenuity of this partnership when it's clear that no matter what Hudson does, he attracts so much discourse both from people who "love" him and who "hate" him, even when he doesn't intentionally court attention. It comes really with the territory of not being the meek humble Asian in spaces people don't think he belongs.

Balenciaga is the perfect house to tank any and all discourses and scandals because they themselves have been put through worse by the Demna days (that they are still dealing with now). In comparison everything surrounding Hudson just looked like people still wanting to help themselves of having Opinions (TM) about him, and actually helps Balenciaga move the conversation from the worst (TM) to still kind of controversial, but ultimately harmless. It also fits with PPP gradually moving the direction to be more Cristobal influenced, because there's also a "maturing with the brand" angle there that Hudson's youth would serve him well.

Hudson almost tripling his MIV for Balenciaga from March (1.2 M) to July (3.3 M) is interesting to me because it aligns with Balenciaga's overall higher numbers as well since it's PPP's first couture show for them. It really is showing how they are such good fits for each other, Hudson suits the elevated casual looks and sick accessories the RTW Balenciaga line is associated with, but this shows he can keep up his pace with the quieter, more exclusive, Paris haute couture week, and the house knows how to accomodate him (his front row with Lily and Shailene and Kering CEO, his mother as his plus one, quiet in and out of the show itself).

Honestly hoping they are still together for Met Gala next year (and the theme is good!) because even in the couture collection I saw a look that suited Hudson so much (yes even if the collection was for women).

I was a shipper before and was soaking up all the things the readers are saying (some are pretty convincing to me that time) and believed that the break up will happen after CSA and they say during the shooting of HR2 Hudson will definitely choose Connor. But when i tried seeing things from a different perspective, i realized that maybe we're just reading too much on things. Readers get their current energy, but no one really knows what's going on behind the scenes especially with their relationships. I decided then that i should just trust Hudson more and focus on his career rather than dissecting his personal life. That's why when they say that this Europe trip is a disaster or Hudson feels miserable, except for the pap altercation, i don't really see that because i actually feel calm and happy seeing him with his loved ones. (i'm sorry this was long! 🙇🏻‍♀️)
