I just wanted to post an apology for the lack of updates on here! This is a side project for me and life has gotten pretty hectic!

Anyway! I'll be posting a little bio for each of our members of the creative team. There are 5 of us, so I think every few days we'll make a 'get to knew the writer' post so you can get to know our wonderful team!

Hey there! Just wondering when those of us who applied to be part of the creative team will be hearing back. Thank you all so much for your hard work already!

We will be emailing those we’d like to be a part of our creative team shortly. We’ve had a bad streak of whether lately and have been needing to take care of things. So I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to people.

Everyone who applied had beautiful writing, and we wish we could have every one of them be a part of things to begin with. Sadly, we can’t accommodate every person who applied. We’re hoping this will change as things progress and the need for more people will arise. 

Once we hear back from those we emailed, we’ll be posting a little ‘get to know the team’ bit on here.

Again I am so so so sorry it’s taken so long.

is it too late to join the creative team? Where are y'all setting up homebase?

Hi there! Nope! You can still apply for the creative team! You've got about 4 and a half hours left to apply!!The creative team will be setting up times for online communication, so we accept anyone from any timezones and hope we can find times that work for everyone in the small group, probably on the weekends, where we can Skype.

That being said, we are in the US. We have had several European applicants, and welcome anyone to apply!

Hi! First off this is an absolutely fantastic idea! Secondly I was wondering what location this would be taking place? I mean are you looking for actors in a specific area? If they lived somewhere far it might be impossible to commute.

Hello there! Thank you so much! We're really hoping all the pieces fall into place so that we can make all this happen. Obviously, we're really excited.

Those are really good questions! 

The short answer is, we don't know yet. Once we have a script, and know what sets, locations and actor's we'll need for filming, it will be part of the creative team's job to brain storm filming locations.

Nothing is set in stone yet, but maybe THIS POST might answer things better.

We do promise to keep everyone updated as things develop, and we do hope to hear some feedback and ideas from all of you too!!

So, this is your first snippet as to what The Science of Boredom will be like. It started off as a bit of learning curve for Celina and I and then it sort of became a promo that took a lot more work than we anticipated.

If you're looking for actors I'd love to audition. If is there information about that yet? Or rules about being female playing a male ect?

Hi!! Very good questions!We don’t have a script yet, so we don’t know who we’ll need for people to audition for. Though we’ll be posting like crazy on here once we open acting auditions! We hope you’ll still be interested and audition for us!As of right now, gender doesn’t matter. We know of plenty of girls who make wonderful boys in their cosplay. However, this isn’t a cosplay thing, it’s an acting thing. 

It doesn’t matter what you look like, or what gender you are. What matters is how you portray the character.

Once we have our creative team and a script, we’ll work through what we’re looking for and we will let you all know!!

English As a Second Language

We've gotten several questions and comments from people concerned because English is not their first language.

We welcome everyone of all nationalities to apply for our creative team!

It doesn't matter if English is your first, second or tenth language. All that we request is that you are fluent enough to express your ideas and understand other's points of view.

So, even if English isn't your first language, we'd still love to hear from you!
