What gets me is that Galehaut and Guenevere are friends who deeply love and care for each other, not despite their love for Lancelot, but in face and extending that, like she promised him she’d never put him in a position where he feels he has to give up Lancelot to her, he so fiercely supported her during the False Guenevere situation and gave her her own kingdom, they both deeply admired and respected each other and even understood each other (pointedly, in the ways Lancelot does not!!). They could’ve loved Lancelot together and they did!!! What was in conflict wasn’t their love but their conditions
