🌈 My Forever Baby, Kong
My beloved baby Kong — Kongie, Kongkong, Molinggay, Molly — Mama’s favorite son.
I miss you so much, more than words will ever be able to express.
Molly came into our lives in 2020 like a blessing we didn’t expect. He was almost 5 years old when he passed, but I still remember the first day we met like it was yesterday. Papa brought him home on November 14, 2020 after a passenger of his could no longer care for him and was looking for someone to adopt him. His previous owner called him Beirut, but the moment I held him, he became Molly — my sweet boy.
I wasn’t home when he first arrived, but when I finally came through the door and saw him for the first time, I fell in love instantly. He was so tiny and so adorable — with the cutest little face and that beautiful high nose bridge. I always said if he were a person, he’d be the most handsome guy ever.
From the very beginning, he was such a good and intelligent cat. I never had to teach him how to use the toilet — he already knew how, even as a baby. He was gentle, calm, and loving in every way. Every time I called his name, he would come running towards me, like he understood that I was his mama and he was truly my son. He wasn’t just a pet. He was my comfort, my baby, my happiness.
But life can be so cruel.
Molly didn’t die naturally — someone hurt him. Someone stabbed him in the mouth, and it caused him so much pain that he struggled to eat. I still can’t understand why anyone would hurt such a sweet and innocent soul. He didn’t deserve it. No animal does. I pray that whoever did this will face the consequences of their actions. I believe in karma, and I know that one day, justice will come — even if quietly, even if slowly.
To my baby Kong,
You will always be a part of me. You have given me so much love and so many quiet, beautiful moments that I will carry forever. Thank you for choosing me. Thank you for loving me in your pure, gentle way. In this life or the next, you’ll always be my baby. Mama loves you always.
🌈 Until we meet again, my angel. 💛
