Day 3 – Portrait practice

Today’s practice was all about faces. I worked on manga heads, realistic portraits and hair, focusing on construction, proportions and values.🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️

Day 2 – More side profile practice

Kept practicing side profiles today. I followed one of Chommang’s tutorials to better understand the construction and proportions.

Spent today studying side profiles. They’re way harder than I expected 💀

I’m still struggling with the proportions (jaw, forehead, skull, basically everything 😭), but I feel like I’m slowly starting to understand the construction.

Any critique or advice is more than welcome.🥹

Day 1 — Facial expressions.

Today I studied facial expressions and basic head construction. Still struggling with eyebrows and mouth shapes, but I already feel more comfortable drawing emotions than yesterday.
