Do not think for a moment that this admin is only going after trans folks. They are ultimately going after the whole LGBTQ community. They start small, like getting rid of a hotline option, then go BIG.

Japan is such an individualistic culture compared to America. In japan, they let you build all sorts of weird houses, like a house with no external windows. While American, what you are allowed to build on your property is tightly regulated, for the good of the society.
Hello đ, I hope you're doing well..
My name is Mahmoud, and I'm a 17-year-old from Gaza. The ongoing war has devastated my city, destroyed my school, and made daily life incredibly challenging.
Despite these hardships, I'm determined to continue my education and build a better future. I've been given a chance to study abroad, but I need help to cover the costs of leaving Gaza, as well as living expenses and other essentials abroad once the crossing opens.. đ
If you can, please consider donating or sharing, your kindness can truly make a difference, and thanks for your time. â€đ

Hi Mahoumad!
I would love to help you. I donât have much to give, but iâve shared the post from your profile and will do what I can. Thank you for reaching out!
Im so sorry for what my country is helping Israel do to you, and I hope you know how many hundreds of thousands of us in the U.S. alone are trying to stop it. God be with you all đ€
Hello everyone..đ
Iâm reaching out with a heavy heart but a hopeful spirit. My name is Mahmoud, a 17-year-old from Gaza, where life has taken a devastating turn. The war has left my city in ruins, shattering dreams and hopes along the way.
But Iâm not giving up. I have a chance to continue my education abroad, away from the destruction, and I need your help to make it happen. This isnât just about me; itâs about my family, my future, and the resilience of a community that refuses to be defeated.
Iâm trying to raise 15000$ CAD to cover the costs of relocating and living expenses. Every donation, every share, brings me closer to a future where I can thrive and eventually give back to those Iâve left behind.
Please consider supporting my journey. Together, we can build something beautiful out of the rubble.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. â€ïž

In 2023, the American Library Association's Office for Intellectual Freedom found that challenges of unique titles surged 65%, reaching the highest level ever documented by the ALA. Over 4,000 unique book titles were targeted for censorship, with titles representing the voices and lived experiences of LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC individuals comprising 47% of those attempts.
Now is the time, more than ever, to stand with the banned and boldly read challenged books.

Hey, I saw a reblog of a post of yours. It was about no-fault divorce being legalized in the â70s and how that reduced the percentage of wives committing suicide. I canât click the link you had to source it, and am wondering if you still have that source, or can find your post. Thanks!
this is the most commonly cited source I think:
Since 1969, studies have shown no-fault divorce correlates with a reduction in female suicides and a reduction in intimate partner violence. A 2004 paper by economists Betsey Stevenson and Justin Wolvers found an 8 to 16% decrease in female suicides after states enacted no-fault divorce laws. They also noted a roughly 30% decrease in intimate partner violence among both women and men, and a 10% drop in women murdered by their partners.
although I've seen it quoted as a decrease in women murdering their husbands, with the implied threat towards those would wish to create obstacles to divorce.
on the other hand there are also studies finding an increase in women murdering their husbands due to no fault divorce:
The results indicate that unrestricted unilateral divorce laws had small and statistically insignificant effects on the amount of lethal spousal violence directed against wives. However, the easy access to divorce created by such laws increased spousal homicides of husbands by approximately 21%. These increases were concentrated in states where the division of marital property favored husbands.
so no fault divorce could make it easier to leave an abusive partner, reducing the incentive to kill them, but could also make it easier to be financially cut off by a partner, increasing the incentive to kill them; somewhat disconcerting implications there for humans as rational actors.
literally though if you feel like your life is slipping through your fingers and every day goes too fast⊠try doing hard things, not just taking the easy route, like reading and making art and exercising and cooking a meal from scratch and journaling, doing these things without distraction, without being absorbed on a screen⊠the time will stretch and youâll be reminded that life is long and beautiful if you make it so.
Reblogging this with these tags because oh my goodness
To the person I reblogged this from THANK YOU i am now going to stick this on my pinboard where Iâm gonna see it every single day
