The West Wing, “Institutional Memory”
I think this is my favorite scene of the whole show. (Sorry Sorkin, I still love you!) I want them to do some small tragic indie movie together.
TEARS IN MY EYES. I could watch them forever. And YES they need to be together in our lives again just looking at each other with those angsty faces and not talking about about what they are really talking about and showing you their history & how much they love each other in every scene....
Sorry, but I just love this picture of Taissa’s sister Vera, Vera’s husband and their pet goats too much to not post it.

Had a cry over this photo at the train station on my way home from work.....
Wasn't going to go to The Iron Lady premiere because I couldn't get out of work till past 5.30 and people were waiting all day..... but SO glad I did, got to the front with my friends and had a once in a lifetime moment.
‘The Good Wife’ 3x10 (Peter and Alicia)
I can't help it, I'm still so in love with them.
I have been thinking about this carefully, there isn't that many people on tv that are totally like me, I am self confessed difficult person that doesn't seem to have ~feelings (well only for tv characters) and people that don't know me can think I'm cold/think I'm better than them (which is only partly true!). When these characters are in tv, they are seen as the BITCH, are often not given enough depth and aren't liked by the other people in the show AND by a lot of fans.
SO I have been personality profiling tv characters over the last week to work if there is any fellow ESTJs (my Myers Briggs profile). And then watching the new the closer episode this week, it struck me that SHARON FREAKING RAYDOR is a classic one. (I don't know how I didn't notice before, maybe distracted by her sheer awesomeness and her obvious attractiveness which I don't relate to?). I really didn't want to compare myself to her but we do come from the same world of facts, details, straightforwardness and self assurance. Here is the description of the profile, highlighted are things I think are SO Raydor.
As an ESTJ, your primary mode of living is focused externally, where you deal with things rationally and logically. Your secondary mode is internal, where you take things in via your five senses in a literal, concrete fashion.
ESTJs live in a world of facts and concrete needs. They live in the present, with their eye constantly scanning their personal environment to make sure that everything is running smoothly and systematically. They honor traditions and laws, and have a clear set of standards and beliefs. They expect the same of others, and have no patience or understanding of individuals who do not value these systems. They value competence and efficiency, and like to see quick results for their efforts.
ESTJs are take-charge people. They have such a clear vision of the way that things should be, that they naturally step into leadership roles. They are self-confident and aggressive. They are extremely talented at devising systems and plans for action, and at being able to see what steps need to be taken to complete a specific task. They can sometimes be very demanding and critical, because they have such strongly held beliefs, and are likely to express themselves without reserve if they feel someone isn't meeting their standards. But at least their expressions can be taken at face-value, because the ESTJ is extremely straight-forward and honest.
The ESTJ is usually a model citizen, and pillar of the community. He or she takes their commitments seriously, and follows their own standards of "good citizenship" to the letter. ESTJ enjoys interacting with people, and likes to have fun. ESTJs can be very boisterous and fun at social events, especially activities which are focused on the family, community, or work. (How much do i want to see this side of Sharon?!)
The ESTJ needs to watch out for the tendency to be too rigid, and to become overly detail-oriented. Since they put a lot of weight in their own beliefs, it's important that they remember to value other people's input and opinions. If they neglect their Feeling side, they may have a problem with fulfilling other's needs for intimacy, and may unknowingly hurt people's feelings by applying logic and reason to situations which demand more emotional sensitivity.
When bogged down by stress, an ESTJ often feels isolated from others. They feel as if they are misunderstood and undervalued, and that their efforts are taken for granted. Although normally the ESTJ is very verbal and doesn't have any problem expressing themself, when under stress they have a hard time putting their feelings into words and communicating them to others.
ESTJs value security and social order above all else, and feel obligated to do all that they can to enhance and promote these goals. They will mow the lawn, vote, join the PTA, attend home owners association meetings, and generally do anything that they can to promote personal and social security.
The ESTJ puts forth a lot of effort in almost everything that they do. They will do everything that they think should be done in their job, marriage, and community with a good amount of energy. He or she is conscientious, practical, realistic, and dependable. While the ESTJ will dutifully do everything that is important to work towards a particular cause or goal, they might not naturally see or value the importance of goals which are outside of their practical scope. However, if the ESTJ is able to see the relevance of such goals to practical concerns, you can bet that they'll put every effort into understanding them and incorporating them into their quest for clarity and security.

Can we talk about how much i ship them?
ie the moment in The Help where I sobbed till the end.
Left: You’re a stay-at-home dad who has chosen to surprise his executive-V.P. wife at the office with a homemade frittata, only to discover her locked in a passionate embrace with her assistant, Diane. Center: You’re a father whose daughter has been missing for eight hours in a national park, pleading before the TV cameras, “We must find her—please, America, help us find her.” Right: You’re a degenerate gambler in debt to the Mob and you’ve bet your last three grand on a 26-to-1 long-shot filly who is now positioned a neck back down the stretch.

I just saw that you met Julianne Moore. First of all, HOLY SHIT. Second of all, I don't know you at all, but will you please tell me every detail? She is my absolute favorite ever in the world.
Yeah epic evening, been waiting for that moment for a LONG time! Happy to share my experience,
It was this "a conversation with Julianne Moore" event in new york that i got tickets to which was her being interviewed for over an hour (was at the front directly in front of her) about her life & career. She shared stories & answered questions from the audience, she was interesting, hilarious & so lovely as you would expect. Heard about her movies coming up too, looking forward to them even more now!!
And then if that wasn't enough, she did a meet & greet book signing afterwards where i talked to her about some of the things she discussed during the night, she could tell i was really nervous (especially when my friend told her how much of a fan i was) and was so generous to me, taking her time talking and making sure i got a picture. It's all still such a blur but dream come true for sure!
Oh and did i mention how GORGEOUS she looked?! Just blown away but being in her company for so long and being allowed to just stare at her!
She also did her classic rock on move when talking about being a dual citizen, and obviously being British i clapped a ridiculous amount at how proud she was of being able to move here anytime she wants.
