I finally got into a creative writing class and posted one of my poems for an assignment... it’s a lot longer than the other people in the class and also a lot more stylistic? so i’m a little scared but oh well

it’s a slightly edited version of my poem “earrings and a ring” which can be found here on my blog

I escaped the hellsite, but I’m still alive. Been working on a lot of things, but this is the most important thing I’ve accomplished in a while. 

This album has been almost a year in the making. Through many different permutations and hours upon hours of late-night obsession over split seconds of waveforms, I now proudly present the debut self-titled Soft Teeth EP.

The music is a mixture of recordings from old projects of mine and new experiments. Industrial, noise, ambient/drone, fuzzed out lo-fi dirge rock.

It’s available for free streaming and pay-what-you-want download from SoundCloud and Bandcamp. You can enter $0 on the download page, but a few dollars always help and would be much appreciated. Mostly, I just want people to hear the first recording I’ve ever been completely proud of and happy with. Share the link, tag a friend, and please enjoy the moldy fruits of my painful labor.

This also marks the launch of a project I’ve been working on for a while, de.tach press; a multi-format, private press specializing in outsider art.

How are you doing?

i’m getting better. i’m actually taking a break from writing as i type this. not something for this blog, it’s a different kind of story that’s sort of my child because i’ve been working on it for over two years...

anyway, i’m all right i guess. i move out of my house and into a dorm in two days because i’m starting my freshman year of college, so that’s exiting... otherwise i’m just trying to live. that’s all i can do for the moment. thank you for checking in on me, anon. i hope you’re doing okay.

Dusk definitely. mostly because i never see dawn? my window faces west so i only see dusky grey in the mornings.

I think I might have a small crush but my fears usually smush those out asap :)

Yes!!!! I love animals a lot. I have three dogs, two cats, and a devil bird who is satan’s familiar. i used to have two rats but i had to give them away because i can’t take them to college :(

oh man i love video games so much. i love all three of those honestly but the top would definitely be zelda. so much of my childhood was either spent watching my brother play the games or playing them myself. so many good memories.

Do you like coffee? Do you prefer it black or with creamer? What is your shoe size?

I love coffee! I’ve been trying to coax myself into drinking it black but it’s been really hard. I gag pretty much any time I eat something bitter so it’s tough. I usually put cream and sugar in my coffee unless I get a cappuccino or something :) I also really like tea as well, either herbal or black :)

I have vvvvvv tiny feet. 5 and a half in men’s. it sucks. i also have tiny hands so I’m not well off in the extremeties department
