“Cheetah printed onesie “
“ I don’t wanna be like Cinderella, sitting in the dark cold dusty cellar, waiting for somebody to come and set me free “ - The Cheetah girls
Ever sit back and think about what songs affected the way you think? The strength in lyrics really do matter. I can quote and provide some long winded “College” study or we can all be honest. “ Come on baby we ain’t gonna live forever! Let me show you all the things that we can do” - The Veronica’s
When I break down my teen spirit days and pooled together bottles of Georgie vodka bottle, My dedicated hours of pepper Ann a with Apple Jacks. I recall dreaming of my independence from the people who were dedicated to making me feel like I had to run. I mean sprint from my skin not just the damn room. Social anxiety is everlasting battle but worth the fight. After a while you don’t see people as demons to escape but people to as stuck.
Witch makes me wonder as I sit in my Adult onesie. If the things I love and hold dear at that time shunned and labeled “childish”. Then what do those people hold dear? A coffee? Cigarette? Jerry Springer ?
Who stole their rights to their innocence? Who took your ability to see magic or use their actual imagination to be more then just the average “Adult”?
