TRESemmé Moisture Rich Shampoo

Tresseme Shampoos and conditioners have been a lifesaver for me for many years.

I have always depended on the brand as it is the one to keep my hair soft and moisturized. It has made it manageable to untangle in the shower & the smell is amazing. The price has always been reasonable at every drug store I've purchased it from.

I have never been disappointed by any of the variety of lines. If you live in areas with hard water, this will make life a lot easier.

I tend to shop around when I need to restock and I love to buy when it's on sale.I have bought it at £4.50 each when I needed it, not a bad price but this mama is cheap.

What I do is wait for it to sell at £2.50 on sale each and stock up. My hair used to be long and this helped so much with the detangling but now that my hair is so short my shampoo & conditioner will last me ages.

The creamy shampoo makes my hair smell great and the conditioner lets me run my comb thru my hair without having to cry.

Soft manageable hair ....who doesn't want that?

Granted not all hair types might like any one shampoo or conditioner but its definitely worth trying it out and seeing how it works for you.

Heath & Heather Decaffeinated Green Tea is a beautiful thing to wake up to. I love this light tea, no bitter after taste. You can find this and many other flavours at Holland & Barrett's. I am looking forward to try out the Green Tea and Aloe. 20 bags for a decent price & great flavour. Saying that...as tired as I am right now, I need something with some caffeine asap! 😉 The Buzz on The Heath & Heather Decaffeinated Green Tea is 4/5

What can we not say about these little morsels of heaven? I always try to buy more than 1 pack in Sainsbury's as it does not last at my home. My husband is a chocolate freak as well, so imagine.

I have yet to find another great chocolate like it, Nutella will be the death of me! If you haven't tried it....what are you waiting for?!!!

Shalom 1 ( Albufeira ) A Restaurant Done Right

I must say I was lucky to enjoy a bit of a vacation (Holiday) recently.

After walking around the colorful and beautiful Old Town Albufeira, the tummy started talking. Pretty much my whole family starting feeling the hunger pains.

So it was time to eat, where did we go?

None other than Shalom ...I was very happy with our choice.

Shalom offers Dutch, Barbecue, European, Mediterrean, Grill type dishes & Also Vegetarian dishes.

Located in Old town Albufeira.

We sat right in that spot inside on the left side. It was open so it was like sitting outside but avoiding the hot sun.  I must say looking at the outside of the place the picture above had me giggling. Inside the decor was simple yet lovely.

I loved the Moroccan style lamps and the table decors were cute.

Let's get into the food tho!....

The customer service was on point! My son was getting spoiled with a sheet to color and because he is such a charmer he left with not 1 but 2 lollipops. 

     My son had the nuggets and chips (his favorite go to)

Now let's get to the serious meals :)

My husband ordered an awesome and huge cheeseburger with chips, which I could have sworn I took a photo of and for some odd reason, I can't find... sorry guys. I did get a taste tho and it was super tasty, fresh and great flavors oozing thru.

We all ordered bottled water and they still brought little glasses for it.

Then there was what I ordered (May I add big portions & reasonably priced)

The Oriental Chicken and Rice with a small salad (once again no pic of salad )

Oh my!!! The flavor that was infused into each grain of rice! the Chicken was tender and flavorful with the sweet chili sauce kicking it up 10 more notches.      I kept saying mmmmm at every bite, I haven't had that eating out in a while.

Mainly I am one to cook and I know when food is fresh and the food was superb. I kinda wished I tried the endless wings but let me tell you the portions made it very easy to get full, hence no dessert. but its definitely not a bad thing.

It seems everyone who goes there leaves happy and I can see why.      Whenever I go back I will be sure to visit again. Best 29 Euros spent!

Also, this is just part one ... There is Shalom 2 literally across that opens in the evening setting up more tables outside for people to enjoy the cool evenings. They also have a Burger Bar....so much to choose from, so if you are there for some time give them all a try.

PLEASE BRING TO THE U.K!!!

Please Bring this to the UK!!!! This is by far my favorite popcorn snack...I absolutely love it Unfortunately, I have to order online and pay disgusting prices compared to when I lived in the states. Can't even find small bags here unless I go into one of these specialty shops and the price is less than desirable & the bag is tiny for the price. At times I do pay to get my fix.

I pray this sells big here in the UK because I need it to! Any other lovers of Smartfood popcorn, missing it besides me? I doubt I am the only one.

The best part is after finishing a bag is when you have to suck all the cheese off of your fingers.

I love to stick the bag in the freezer before opening it as it gives it a bigger crunch. Go ahead try it! you will see the difference.

Hangqiao Women's Chiffon Butterfly Print Neck Shawl Scarf Wrap Scarves Beauty Gifts

This piece is just beautiful.

I was able to buy this scarf via Amazon for a fraction of the price

The material quality is decent and the print is outstanding,

I love how it swayed in the wind when I went outside on a windy day. The price is very reasonable but the regular price is still a bargain. It can be used as a head scarf or just scarf to accompany your outfit for the day.

I have hand washed the item and it has maintained its vibrancy.                          I don’t recommend washing with other clothing in the washing machine unless using a super gentle cycle.

I would have loved it even more if the scarf was longer. I am happy with the prompt delivery of the item. I give this beautiful scarf 4/5 stars

Transparent Crystal Whiskey Skull Head Shape Drinking Ware Glass Cup

Nifty Little Shot Glass! I really like this shot glass. its cute and the design is cool, I love skulls!

I was able to review this product at a fraction of the cost, ordered via Amazon.

I must say that when I first opened the box, I was expecting a shot glass with a bit more weight.then I noticed the inside/ bottom of the glass is hollow. Would have loved it even more, if the glass was bottom filled and the skull had more of an embed style. I don’t recommend it being washed in a dishwasher as all it takes is for another dish to hit it and it would be the end of the glass. The box itself states  "Hand Wash Only"

This glass will hold 2 ounces of your favorite drink and after your shot, wash and put back on display.

One thing you can do that I thought would be really cool…. put a tiny changing led light behind it/under and fill with water and a color solution (food coloring) it looks awesome! The item itself was packaged so well that it could have survived a drop from a helicopter ;)

If you aren’t clumsy and always breaking glasses or have a whole frat house full of people it will survive. The Nuvo Buzz

You Sure Are Mighty...

Washing Laundry...Everyone's favorite chore! Right? No?   Oh Ok ... I thought I was the only one who enjoyed sifting thru tons of piles of smelly socks and stained shirts and pants left inside out.

I have gone thru a couple different detergents I like, but I've come across a great laundry detergent with a Napolean complex,   The small and mighty Persil.

I have been using it for some time now and I must say it is my favorite.

I can wash my clothes at low temperatures (30-40 degrees celsius) and I can also attack my stains before throwing them in with the nifty little measuring cup which doubles as a stain ball, the bumps on the bottom help scrub the spots directly. The Pour spout makes it easy for me to not have detergent all over myself

(you never want any chemical to sit on your skin for too long..ouchie)

I've used it on all of my family’s colored clothing and the colors remained vibrant while the whites looked clean.

(It is not recommended for use on silk or wool)

The smell is amazing!! I have the smell throughout my home due to air drying on the rack, and I love it! Especially when we finally have some Sun and the warmth and aroma sweep you off your feet.

I wouldn't mind buying the bigger bottles either, So I don't run out for a long while.

I can say I totally recommend it.

I give Persil 5/5 Now, hate to cut this short, but I have to go finish doing laundry.

Tired & Dissapointed With Giraffe (Again)

So here I was getting ready to head on my Holiday to Portugal and the selections at the Gatwick Airport is minimal when it comes to restaurant choices. I spotted Giraffe... Now I’ve had a bad experience in my own home town so I was hesitant but I said to myself...

”We are tired & hungry, surely it couldn't go bad again”

Boy was I wrong! I paid for making that decision....

My husband Ordered a burger, my son chicken sandwich, and homestyle fries for his kid meal & myself I ordered the Po Boy (Pork)... What would arrive at our table was less than acceptable.

You’d probably ask yourself “why didn't you just have them remake it?”  Perhaps I would have but with how tired we all were, It wasn't worth me making a fuss, not to mention this was strike 2 when visiting a Giraffe Restaurant, at this point id given up on the chain restaurant.      

My husband said his burger was super dry and almost burned home fries still drenched in oil.

  My sons “grilled” chicken looked fried and dried, (should have taken those pics too) all my son did was eat the bun. What was the only decent looking & tasting item of our whole bill was my Po-boy.

The bun was a bit dry but there was enough sauce on top to moisten it up a bit, and the pork could definitely use more seasoning. Overall disaster.

I will say that the staff was nice, but the food was a total let down, So much so that I took to Snapchat & Twitter with my thoughts. I got a notification directly from the headquarters (via twitter) apologizing & asking if I could elaborate on my situation via email for them to look into it.

I did just that on April 24th, (Not a rude email but definitely an unhappy one)

As of today, no response......

I am the type of person to normally cook at home & going out to eat should be a way for me to enjoy other foods that I didn't have to stand in front of the hot stove for. Stay at home moms will definitely agree.

Coming from a food & hospitality background, An American with the knowledge of great food spots in the tourist areas of Orlando Fl, Lovely spots in Manhattan & Brooklyn NY & A Latina who can get down in the kitchen....I know flavor!

My conclusion.... I am done with Giraffe...

If you've had a great experience at Giraffe, let me know, I’d love to hear your story, but if you are new to checking out the chain ....Proceed with caution..... Hopefully, you’re luckier than my family & me.
