Surviving In The Nether

Hello, and today's blog is about surviving in The Nether! I will tell you what to do and what not to do.

✅ What You SHOULD Do:

Wear gold armor, at least one piece: This way, Piglins won't attack you!

Don't forget to bring food, blocks, and a flint & steel: To relight your portal.

Write down your portal coordinates: This way, you can find your portal easily.

Watch your step: There are lots of lava and cliffs!

Use fire resistance potions: Of course, if you can...

Build safely: Bring strong gear (armor, sword, pickaxe, axe, etc)

❌ What You SHOULD NOT Do:

Do not dig straight down: You might fall into lava and die!

Do not hit Piglins: They attack in groups, be careful.

Don't open chests near Piglins: They'll get mad and attack you.

Don't sleep in a bed: It explodes!

Use a respawn anchor: It makes you respawn in the Nether if you die in the Nether in survival.

Survival Tips

Hello! Sorry for the long wait, we went to a bouldering (rock climbing) tournament and I got sick... It was a little hectic, but today I am back with more information on how to survive your first couple of days in Survival Minecraft!

1 Punch Your First Tree

By punching your tree, you will be able to craft planks and by crafting planks, you will be able to get sticks and a crafting table.

2 Make The Basic Wooden Tools

Craft a wooden pickaxe and mine stone so you can get better tools. Once you are set, make a stone pickaxe, an axe and a sword if you will be out when it's night time.

3 Find Food

Get the basic foods from killing sheep, cows, pigs and chickens. You can break grass to get seeds (used for farming later on)

Optional: Try to find apples from breaking oak tree leaves or search for villages for crops.

4 Make a Bed

Kill 3 sheep and for their wool, or locate a village nearby and steal a bed from the village. If you can't find a village, craft 3 oak planks and craft a bed using the wool and the planks you just crafted.

5 NIGHTTIME- Stay Safe!!!

Monsters spawn in the dark: Skeletons, Zombies, Spiders, Creepers. Stay indoors and if you don't have a little base like a dirt house, try to fight all those mobs!

If you have crafted a Furnace, you can:

Cook meat (use wood or coal) or make charcoal to make torches if you don't have any coal.

For now, stay safe and don't EVER dig straight down.

GAMEPLAY ADJUSTMENTES:

Beacon Visibility: Beacons and their beams now render beyond 16 chunks, up to the client's render distance, making them visible from greater distances. ​

Lodestone Updates: Lodestones have a new crafting recipe and can now be found in Ruined Portals.

Villager Trade Improvements: The trades of the Cartographer and Wandering Trader (YAY!) have been updated, offering more variety and utility. ​

Minecraft is a game full of mysteries and one of the biggest mysteries yet, is the Aether portal. Despite years and years of failed attempts it won't work. Here's why:

The Mysterious Dimension, The Aether: The Aether is a mythical and mystical dimension from a popular mod, not from the base game. It features floating islands, unique creatures, and dungeons, contrasting the Nether’s fiery world 🔥 The Aether was added by a mod. NOT by Mojang.

Building The Aether Portal: In the mod, players build the portal using glowstone and water to light it. However, this doesn’t work in vanilla Minecraft because Mojang never added the Aether dimension to the official game in the first place. (Though I think we need a new dimension...)

Why Doesn't It Work In Vanilla?: The Aether dimension was never intended for the base game by Mojang, despite its mod’s popularity. Without the mod, the portal won’t open.

Legacy And Mods: The Aether may not be in the base game, but it lives on through the mod and fan-made content about it. To explore the Aether, install the mod (The mod is called '' The Aether Mod'' as you may expect) and experience its unique and interesting world.
