It’s also because I’m sick of the Nya erasures in the fandom 💔

She’s my fav character (plus Jay), so I will literally just be posting whatever has to do with her. Feel free to share your Nya appreciation too :)

I wonder how many people Nya tried to save from drowning while merged with the sea. Nyad straight up told her it’s natural to let people drown but Nya was confused by that because it’s in her nature to help. And does she ever feel guilty about the people she couldn’t? Or the lives lost when Wojira flooded Ninjago? Did or does she ever regret her choice?

A huge pet peeve of mine is when people still mispronounce and/or misspell Nya’s name in the big 2026. Like are they just not paying attention to her or what cause how do you continuously hear and see her name and still get it wrong? 🫩

It’s in the first few season intros, it’s said all the time, it’s on the sets, and yet! people still can’t seem to get it.

If you post yourself saying it wrong, I assume you’re a larper because you’ve had 15 YEARS to get it right 🥀

I feel very strongly about this if you couldn’t tell.

Like we got that stupid rat and not her! What is this?! And the fact that she hasn’t been mentioned at all!!

Looking back now I totally had a crush on Nya in 6th grade and just didn’t realize because I didn’t know what a crush felt like 😭

Like I had just started using Pinterest and like everything was about her. I remember trying to make a pin that said, “I’m a tall glass of water” or something and I couldn’t figure out how to add text to the picture 💀

Also literally all of my profile pictures and backgrounds on everything had something to do with her.

I was smitten and I didn’t even know it 🥀

I actually almost passed away out of sheer joy because of this

After 15 years we finally, FINALLY get an actual, good kiss! 12 year old me used to pray for times like this. Peak moment that I will continue to go back and watch and cry. Literally sobbed for like 30 minutes out of joy and a strange mix of sadness. WE ARE SO BACK!

Thank you Ninjago writers for FINALLY talking about Nya’s inventing and mechanics skills! That used to be a huge part of her character and I realize I kinda forgot about it b/c it’s been so long since it was mentioned.
