//My lovely girlfriend saved the URL "27-brains" and she wants to know if I want it.
//I thought I'd ask my followers what they think. Should I change URLs?
Satisfied that the TARDIS had at least provided her with decent clothing, the Master smoothed her skirt and left the hideously 1980s bedroom set aside for her (the ship’s idea of a joke, no doubt) and was immediately thrust into an endless hallway with no doors or turns anywhere in sight. Rolling her eyes at the machine’s childish antics, she turned to the bedroom again, only to find that the door was gone.
“You’ve got to be joking. Is this what you call ‘getting along’? I’m a changed woman. Quite literally. But if you piss me off enough, I can unchange very quickly.” Still nowhere to go.
With a sigh, the Master started walking. “Fine. Get it out of your system, you rickety hunk of junk. I’m going to be here for a long, long time.”
The Doctor was in the console room, adjusting knobs and sliders and darting around the center console with a boyish grin. It was always this way, the first trip with a new companion. But there was something special. This companion was different. This companion was a partner, a lifelong friend. Sort-of.
After having chosen a set of coordinates at random and prepared the TARDIS to take off, he leaned back, crossed his arms, and waited. But as he continued to wait, the glee began to fade. With a frown, he stood and made his way back toward the corridors of the ship. "Master?"

I am, I’m utterly heartsbroken! I thought you found me charming.
I find you irritating and grating. I find your ignorance to that fact vaguely charming, in a way. In the same way that I find a dog that keeps walking into glass doors charming.
Aha, you see! Charming. I knew it.

"Of course you do." As if he'd have it any other way. As soon as his arms were around hers, Amy was quick to return the favour. Fingers gripping the back of his tweed jacket, there was not a chance Amy was letting go anytime soon. Especially since there were now tears streaming down her face, she wouldn't dare let him see her like that.
"Where, er... Where are you and Rory, then? Pre-cubes? Have we done your anniversary yet?" As long as she held tight, so did he. His throat closed in on itself. It was breaking every last one of his rules, just seeing her. But he couldn't bring it upon himself to push back and leave. Not when he thought he wouldn't see her again.
//I need to go to bed now! I'll try to get on before I go to the doctor tomorrow. Good night!
"I changed it once. Legally." Amy corrected, just to be cheeky. "He's good. /We're/ good. How about you?"
"Oh, Pond. I'm still me. Got a brand new mystery to keep me busy and out of trouble. Or get me into trouble, as the case may be." He chuckled, stepping forward and folding her into his arms, his face buried in her shoulder.
“Two glasses of water, if you please. I’m waiting for an old friend and a new acquaintance.” He grinned up at her, leaning back to cross his hands on his lap. “I’m called the Doctor, by the way.”
“Two glasses of water, coming right up,” she replied. She turned to walk away, stopped and turned back to face him. “Doctor who?” she asked. “And what sort of doctor? MD? PhD?” she was intrigued; it seemed like her night had gotten a bit more interesting.
"Just the Doctor, no funny little letters." He pushed one glass across the table from him, then leaned forward and smiled knowingly. "And you, Clara Oswin Oswald. Any hidden talents? Is there more to you than working at a Victorian-era historical pub?" From the inside of his jacket, he produced a straw which he dusted off and plopped into his own water glass. "Spirit of adventure?"
//I am only here for a bit longer. I have minor surgery in the morning, so I need to get some rest.

“Hello! Welcome to the Rose and Crown Historic Pub! I’m Clara, Clara Oswald,” Clara began, smiling as a customer walked through the door. “I will be your server this evening. Will you come this way please?” she added, gesturing toward a table by the window.
The tall, lanky gentleman in the brown coat spun on his heel at the sound of the familiar voice, a sunshiney grin spreading across his face. He wet his fingertips and smoothed his hair back, adjusted his bow tie, and gestured grandly with one hand toward her. “Lead the way, Miss Clara.”
Clara grinned at the man as he straightened his bow tie. “Right this way, Sir,” she replied, leading him to a table at the window. “Would you like me to give you the specials, or do you know what you’re ordering already?” she asked. “And can I get you anything to drink?” she added, pulling out her pad and paper. “Love the bow tie, by the way.”

You sweetheart I adore you
//Haha. Can you get on Skype? I want to run something past you.
"That is /so/ weird to hear you say." Amy admitted as she laughed.
He smiled sadly, tucking his hands into his pockets. "You've changed your name enough times that it's about time I started getting used to it. Amelia. Amy. Mrs. Williams. How's Rory?"
Angel and Alien {The Doctor + Castiel}
The Doctor stepped from his TARDIS, almost running into the gentleman outside. To avoid a collision, he performed a bizarre series of twirls, which then ended in an elaborate bow. “Hello! Didn’t see you there! I’m the Doctor, pleasure to meet you— Oh!” Patting down his pockets, the strange bowtied man drew a metal cylinder from his inside jacket pocket and tossed it from hand to hand like it was very hot. “Sorry, that’s new! Hope you don’t mind if I just—” He stepped back, scanning the man in the trench coat with the device. It beeped steadily higher pitches, then exploded in his hand into a mass of twisted metal. “Well, that is most certainly new! Sorry, hello, did I catch your name?”
Castiel stood watching the antics of the stranger in front of him, tilting his head curiously and following the movement of the device that had beeped at him. His brows knitted in confusion and by the time the Doctor spoke to him, he was staring at the half-molten mess of a screwdriver on the ground. He lifted his head, blinking slowly, and responded in a gravelly voice, a single word— “Castiel.” The longer he stared at the strange man, the deeper his frown became. He was no demon, nor angel, nor human. Nor was he any one of the many creatures that appeared human that he knew of. At a loss, he tilted his head the other direction, narrowing his eyes thoughtfully. “…God?”
"God?! No! Well, not in this century. No, no. I'm, er, I'm not God. I'm a Time Lord. I'm more interested in what you are. Not many creatures can melt a sonic screwdriver for attempting to pick up on their genetic structure. In fact, I can count the number of times that has happened on one hand. Well, one finger." He held up a finger to demonstrate, and then pointed it to Castiel. "So, then. Neither of us is human, I went first. What are you? What is a Castiel? Hang on, that's... -iel, that's relating to the Judeo-Christian god. Gabriel, Ezekiel... Castiel. No no, give me a moment. Angel? Yes... Isn't it? Aren't you?"

The Doctor blinked up at the ginger woman, opening and closing his mouth. Then he smiled brightly even as pain squeezed his hearts. "Mrs. Williams."
