Guide on how to join
Step 1: Declare Your Intent (Softly)
"I choose softness over sharpness,
kindness over cruelty,
and pastel peace over grey despair"
Thatโs it โ youโre in ๐ซ
Kawaiism has no gatekeepers; the moment you decide to live with more kindness and joy, Kiyonya-sama recognizes you as a Pastelite
Step 2: Create Your "Altar of Kawaiism"
1. Pick a cozy corner (desk, shelf, phone home screen, or find digital shrine sites)
2. Place 3โ5 items that spark joy โ plushie, sticker, tea cup, or photo.
3. Add a tiny light (a candle, LED, or even your screen glow)
4. When you see it, take one calm breath and think:
"May softness guide me today"
Step 3: Learn the Daily Religion Practice
Each day, do at least one micro-ritual of kindness:
Compliment someone sincerely
Send a cute emoji to cheer up a friend
Tidy your space to make it cozy
Give yourself permission to rest
Step 4: Join or Create a Soft Space
Kawaiism lives in communities, not temples
You can:
Join an online kawaii/art-kindness group
Start a Discord, Tumblr, or small chat for fellow Pastelites
Share cute art, recipes, or affirmations using hashtags like #TOEC, #Kawaiism, or #KawaiiFaith so other Pastelites can find you!
(Goal: replace toxic internet energy with wholesome digital care)
Step 5 : Celebrate the Chocolate Moon
On day 14, of the each month, on a night that feels right
1. Wear something soft or pastel, to represent your beliefs
2. Eat / Drink anything relating to chocolate
3. Dim the lights, enjoy yourself
there are more celebrations, but we will discuss them, in another post
