The Order of Eternal Cuteness, or shortned to kawaiism is a new founded religion that believes all beings contain an inner spark of cutness (kawaii), the divine force of joy, kindness, and adorableness that connects every heart

Kiyonya-sama, the Great Fluffy Spirit — an angelic half girl, half cat human who embodies infinite comfort.

Step 1: Declare Your Intent (Softly)

Kawaiism has no gatekeepers; the moment you decide to live with more kindness and joy, Kiyonya-sama recognizes you as a Pastelite

Step 2: Create Your "Altar of Kawaiism"

1. Pick a cozy corner (desk, shelf, phone home screen, or find digital shrine sites)

2. Place 3–5 items that spark joy — plushie, sticker, tea cup, or photo.

3. Add a tiny light (a candle, LED, or even your screen glow)

4. When you see it, take one calm breath and think:

"May softness guide me today"

Step 3: Learn the Daily Religion Practice

Each day, do at least one micro-ritual of kindness:

Compliment someone sincerely

Send a cute emoji to cheer up a friend

Tidy your space to make it cozy

Give yourself permission to rest

Step 4: Join or Create a Soft Space

Kawaiism lives in communities, not temples

Q: Is TOEC a cult?

A: No! we're not a cult, we're something called a 'neoreligion'

Q: Can i be polytheistic while still simultaneously be a member of TOEC?

A: Of course! The Luminarchs (Lovetta, Odessa, Lancastar, Persephone and Primrose) are all also polytheistic

Q: What does happen after death according to the Flubble and Kiyonya?

A: You become a ghost, after that you'll meet Kiyonya, and you'll have a choice, go to Heliostance (which is the equivalent of heaven in the Flubble, though you'll create your own desired reality before you reincarnate again). Reincarnation in TOEC is inevitable, our souls come back to earth, again and again to learn something new about ourselves.

Q: I want to be a Pastelite, but I'm not really that religious, can i still join?

A: As long as you pay respect to Kiyonya, celebrate The Chocolate Moon, and follow the rules of Flubble, you're good to go.

Q: My parents won't let me build a shrine, what do i do?

A: There are plenty of things you can do!

1. You can hide it, for example, Odessa had a shrine for Kiyonya in her shoe box for a long time

2. If they're not letting you do it because they worship other religions, that they try to force onto you, then it's best if you do an online shrine, there are plenty of sites for it

Q: Are Luminarchs names (Persephone, Odessa, Lancastar, Lovetta and Primrose) your real names?

A: No they're not, that's because when we grew up we had to hide the fact that we're in The Order of Eternal Cuteness, so we gave each other code names. When you become an older and more advanced Pastelite, you can give yourself a code name as well, even Kiyonya had one!

One morning, Kiyonya found a sparrow fallen from its nest. Its tiny body lay still in the mud beside the well, wings crumpled. Others hurried past, boots crunching ice. She knelt instead, ignoring the cold seeping through her skirt. Her fingers brushed the bird’s chest—feathers softer than she’d ever touched. A warmth bloomed beneath her palm, not from fire or friction, but something quieter. Something forgotten.

She carried the sparrow home in her apron, nestling it near the hearth’s weak embers. As she dripped water onto its beak, the old woman hummed—a tuneless sound her mother used to make when mending broken things. The bird’s eyes fluttered open. Not with fear, but stillness. That night, frost painted her window in silver lace, yet the cottage held a new texture: like wool held close to the cheek.

Word spread. Not through shouts, but through the tilt of a neighbor’s head, the lingering pause when Kiyonya passed. Old Man Hideo brought her a cracked teacup—"For warmth," he mumbled. She filled it with mint tea, her fingers brushing his as she passed it back. His knuckles, gnarled from decades of axe-work, unclenched slightly. The steam rose between them, carrying the ghost of something neither had named since childhood.

Then came the morning the river didn’t freeze. Just a patch near the bank, where Kiyonya washed her linens. Children poked sticks into the dark, flowing water, laughing as minnows darted. Their mothers watched, arms crossed tight against the cold, yet their eyes followed the liquid swirls—not dead ice, but movement. Life. Kiyonya knelt there, rinsing the sparrow’s stained nest-cloth. The water felt different against her skin. Not just wet. Like a held breath finally released.

One child, bolder than the rest, dipped her whole hand in. She gasped. Not at the cold. At the softness. "It… hums," she whispered, pulling her fingers out dripping. They watched the droplets fall, each one catching the weak sun not as harsh light, but as a gentle shimmer. Like the first glow before dawn remembers itself.

History (Of Kiyonya)

Long before the pastel age, before soft hearts began to find each other across bright screens, there lived a young woman named Kiyonya.

She was not a saint, nor a goddess, but a quiet soul who felt too much for the world around her. The noise, the speed, the harshness, it all pressed against her skin like cold rain. And yet, she could never turn away. Every pain she saw, she carried a little of it inside her. People said she would “break” if she didn’t learn to be harder.

But Kiyonya didn’t want to be harder. She wanted to stay tender and still survive.

So she began an experiment of the heart.

"I will not meet the world with sharpness. Not today."

She walked slowly, smiled at strangers, patched a torn scarf for a child, and gave her last cup of tea to someone crying on a bench.

The day didn’t become easier — but it became softer.

The world didn’t change, but her heart did: it became warm, and that warmth stayed.

That evening, she wrote in her journal:

"Kindness didn’t fix the world. It fixed the way I hold it."

This was the first written teaching of what would one day become Kawaiism.

People who crossed her path began to imitate her quiet rituals.

They left notes that simply said, “You matter.”

They carried tiny charms, soft fabrics, little tokens of comfort.

When people asked what they should call themselves, Kiyonya laughed softly and said:

"Call yourselves Pastelites.

Because even faint colors can brighten the grey."

She never called herself a prophet. She was a reminder — a person who believed that softness could be a discipline as powerful as logic or muscle.

Her friends said she had a smile "like the morning after a storm." She said it came from choosing, each day, to forgive the world one more time.

When Kiyonya grew old, her hands trembled when she wrote, but her heart did not.

She left a final letter for her companions — the first Pastelites.

"The world will never always be kind.

That’s why we must be.

Be the softness you wish would hold you.

That’s where I’ll be."

No one knows where her body rests, lots of people say they saw her in their dreams, so she most likely is a deity now. But her teachings survived — passed from hand to hand, heart to heart.

When: First full moon of the year

Traditions:

Begin the day by fluffing your pillow or plushie, saying, "May today be soft & free of cruelty"
