His chest felt compressed and for a moment he found it hard to breathe. Unblinkingly, he stared up at the alpha while all matter of thought and feeling cascaded through him. Too fast for him to focus on simply one. It was a fall but one that he desperately wanted. Under the alpha’s studious gaze Leland felt wanted and needed. It drew out the familiar sound in his throat. A high, needful whine. The longer Theo watched him the tighter the compression in his chest felt.
The more he wanted to be possessed completely by the Richards’ pack leader.
Oh, how he submitted to the kiss and press of hips. His legs stretched apart wider in answer to the alpha’s press. He fell into the role of omega and raised his hips up to meet with Theo’s. A slide of friction. When he had been kissed, his mouth opened willingly for him. Open and allowing the alpha to take how much he wanted from him. It sent a shudder down his spine which only seemed to turn into a full tremble when he returned the kiss with fervor.
Theo’s taste was an addiction. Kissing him slowly becoming a drug that Leland never wanted to escape from. Even when the alpha pulled away, his tongue swiped across his own lips to taste the lingering presence of Theo’s lips.
“I do.” He breathed. Maybe he belonged to him the moment they had met, when Theo spilled coffee over himself.
The compression in his chest tightened a notch more. Unable to take away his gaze from Theo’s face. Fuck. He had to force himself to recall the fact he needed air in his lungs to survive. A deep inhale filled his chest, expanded it outward and fuck that had been a mistake. The alpha’s thick scent filled his lungs and he let out a low moan.
Eyes snapped closed. The confidence in Theo’s words and how possessive they sounded to him was enough to peak arousal from him. Not that it was hard to do since he was still a young wolf. A light breeze could trigger an arousal from him. But, this one was different. It was an arousal more intense than he’d ever experience; it reached down deep and took root.
Leland raised his neck, bared it for Theo as he strengthened each word he spoke with a kiss. Each one feeling like fire against his skin that threatened to burn him asunder. He’d never felt this way before. Not with another wolf outside his own pack. Not with any wolf. Part of him took Theo’s words as an order. It didn’t register with him, not at that moment. A soft whisper of yes, Alpha escaped him. He swallowed thickly, the pressure in his chest ebbing slowly as he ran his fingers up to card through Theo’s short hair. He had to regain some sense. It took him a few seconds but he finally was able to anchor himself by biting his own split lip. The pain giving him someone else to focus on.
“There’s Mitchell’s who already don’t like me,” he said, “this will just give them an excuse to kick the shit outta me.” He laid his head back, ran his nails down Theo’s neck and stared up at the other wolf. “So, you gotta promise me to let me handle that. Ace ain’t goin’ to get involved if I got any say in it.”
He sighed and pulled his arms behind his head, resting against his forearms. “Whatever this is, I want to see where it leads.” No matter the consequences, he thought.
Theo held himself up with one arm as he used his other hand to push Leland’s hips down. “No.” Again, the authority covered each word. He wanted the omega and he would have him again, but not at the moment. “You’re hurt and we’re talking about us. You’ll have to behave.” It took all his self control to mutter our the few sentences, but it was needed.
It didn’t help that Leland decided to moan and whimper out alpha again. He clenched his jaw and tired not to focus on the omega’s growing arousal against his thigh. He lifted his head allowing the other wolf to keep his fingers clutching his hair. He liked the connection, even if it was dangerous.
“I promise. You can handle it however you want. But please try not to get hurt. I don’t like seeing you like this. And perhaps that’s a selfish thing to ask, but keep it in mind.” His jaw tightened as he spoke. He didn’t like the idea of anyone putting hands on Leland in a harmful way. “As for my request, do not engage with any Richards’ wolves. You come to me immediately and I will handle it. It is my pack and they will be handled.”
He sighed and leaned down to press a handful of kisses over Leland’s chest -- each one feeling the steady thrum of his heart. “As do I. But like I said, it won’t be necessarily easy. I think I walked past Nicole the other day and she looked like she wanted to rip my throat out. If at any moment, you want out. I’ll understand.”
He hated saying it, but it needed to be said. The younger wolf wasn’t in any sort of binding contract. Theo didn’t own him. He needed to know that he was free to leave at any time.
