Wooden relic of Queen Tiye in the crown of two feathers. (crown colourized by me to show what it possibly looked like in former glory.) Yew wood, silver, gold  and faience inlays Total height 22,5 cm

This 22cm piece which now resides in Berlin shows imagery of Queen Tiye carved from yew wood.  The crown itself is not as it was in it’s original form. Today when you see this piece you see a brown surface however, originally this piece would have had tiny blue beads on the crown, and a cobra on the forefront of the crown itself. (If you zoom in on the first picture you will see some of the original beading still in tact).

Bes is one of the OLDEST and most COMMON gods in the Egyptian Pantheon

Bes is a direct import from TWA Pygmys near the Great Lakes Region of Africa

Bes was the patron of MOTHERHOOD and CHILDBIRTH

All birthing homes were decorated with pictures of BES on the walls

ALSO,

Egyptian women drew pictures of BES on the hands of their children to ward away bad dreams and evil spirits

BES was the protector of everything GOOD and the enemy of everything BAD

I am a descendant of the American slaves. My ancestors witnessed the birth of this nation. We have been Americans for over 400 years. We are American.

My ancestors worked for the top 1% , the American Gentry. The top 1% valued my ancestors more than gold. My ancestors served in the presence of the greatest and wealthiest of the Americans, presidents and statesmen.

My ancestors were the creme of the crop, survivors of the survivors. My ancestor's gene pool is the culmination and best of the African Gene pool. The weak genes were thrown overboard.

My people mix the best of the Africans with the best of the Americans. Our culture became the dominant world culture because of our ability to masterfully blend old world creativity with new world practicality. 

We are called "Negro"

This may sound far fetched but I envision all Africans coming home and that may be the genesis of our revolution.

Not all African people are going to live in Africa. No race lives in one spot. But international political and commercial relationships are necessary.

We as a society are perfectly happy to further stigmatize mentally ill people, who are far more likely to be victims of violence than commit violence, in the service of protecting white supremacy and male entitlement.

THIS musical number from the 1978 Motown film goes out to those protesters in Ferguson, Missouri. and to ALL BLACKS AND OTHER MINORITIES & THE OPPRESSED in America.   The SYSTEM only ALLOWS us just so much power & privilege in order to prevent uprisings & revolution.  But as a result of President Obama, there is basically nothing bigots, racists, intolerant haters and murderers won’t due to make a shameful posturing of “Whites STILL Have Control”.  THEY have ALWAYS HAD IT in ameriKKKa and always will no matter the strides made.  We make do with the crusts of bread we are given at the Table cause, lets face it, its just recently that we have been allowed to sit with them. 

DOESN’T MAKE THE EVIL RIGHT.  JUST STATING THE FACTS.  MAYBE IF WE TRULY ACKNOWLEDGED THE TRUTH, WE COULD GET FARTHER AND DO BETTER WITH MAKING LASTING EFFECTIVE STRIDES.  Right now, all we do is REACT.  Gets old and nothing ever truly changes.
