Hi! I had some kind of similar problems. But I managed to catch my group of friends at a moment when we hadn't had games for several weeks. And then I came to them and said, "I want my own short campaign." Some of my friends were already familiar with lovecraftian stuff, but not all of them. But at that time, I really got into their ears with stories about my lovecraftian OC and his lore, and that was enough to interest them. At first, I was the GM for them, but soon some people wanted to try this too
