お医者　「おいしゃ」－doctor

看護婦　「かんごふ」－ nurse

薬　「くすり」　－ medicine

注射　「ちゅうしゃ」　－ shot

受けます　「うけます」－ to revieve

～ど　－ number of times

まりこさんはむずい薬を飲みました　「まりこさんはむずいくすりをのみました」－ Mariko took some disgusting medicine

今日ジョンさんは注射を三本受けました　「きょうジョンさんはちゅうしゃをさんぼんうけました」－ John got three shots today

この薬を一日中三ど飲んでください　「このくすりをいちにちさんどのんでください」　－　 Please take this medicine three times a day

看護師「かんごし」 is the more proper term for nurse.

看護婦 is an older word and people do still say it (the government only stopped using it in the 2000s) but it refers specifically to female nurses, as opposed to 看護士「かんごし」 for male nurses. Officially the position title is now the ungendered 看護師
