Song of the day: Tei Shi - Bassically (Honne Remix)
If you haven’t heard the original version of ‘Bassically’ by Tei Shei, then you’re missing a little something that would make your life better and it’s probably the next thing you should check out after this remix. Here, Tei Shi’s airy vocal has been channelled fittingly into this mid-tempo dance number by Paper Penguins favourites, London electro-soul duo Honne.

Song of the Day: Tobias - Something
New York-based producer Tobias’ stunning track 'Something’ was posted onto his Soundcloud page at the tail-end of last year as he continues to experiment with his downtempo aesthetic of ethereal atmospherics laced with guitar riffs and electronically tinged beats.
'Something' is the perfect introduction to Tobias, easing you into a mellow recipe of atmospheric guitars sprinkled with delicate R&B vocals and beats soaked in reverb that will transport you to another world for three and a half minutes.
Song of the Day: Snakehips - Gone (feat. Syd)
London’s electronic music duo Snakehips have gone from strength to strength after breaking through last year with a string of stellar remixes and quirky collaborations.
The latest release is the instantly likeable ‘Gone’ featuring The Internet’s Syd Tha Kid who brings a sultry vocal to a chilled out R&B beat that plays to the strongest assets of both artists perfectly. This one comes with a repeat warning.
Song of the Day: The Internet - Girl
When Kaytranada made his debut on his BBC Radio 1 residency earlier this week he brought along a previously unheard collaboration with The Internet which brings together the best both of both worlds. A mesmeric taste of Kaytranada’s slow burning signature sound and the effortless R&B textures of The Internet’s Syd Tha Kid.
Song of the Day: Sir_ - Love You
SiR’s “Love You” is a cut from one of our favourite projects of 2014 that dropped at the back end of last year. His elegantly produced R&B grounded tracks that evolve into an enchanting hybrid of future R&B electronica over the course of a 9 track EP titled Seven Sundays is one of our standout releases of last year.
Each track carried a uniquely striking instrumental identity and coupled with SiR’s alluring croon, he stumbled onto what we would certainly call a winning formula.
Song of the Day: Alex Burey - The Intimidator
Of all the things we’re looking forward to in 2015, Alex Burey’s debut EP ‘Inside World’ sure is high up on the list.
The lead single from the project ‘The Intimidator’ is a beautifully visual, sonically eerie manifestation of Burey’s laid back aesthetic characterised by the synchronicity of his tender vocals and guitar. The attention to detail drives the irresistible charm of “The Intimidator’ with visual songwriting, ticking clocks, blood-curdling screams and subtle harmonies somehow falling into place to sound like the soundtrack to your next daydream.
