An innocent animal is in danger because of human action. Today is World Polar Bear Day and we want to send a reminder that we're not losing hope for these majestic creatures! According to David Suzuki, "Polar bears use sea ice as a hunting platform to catch seals and other marine mammal prey. Without sea ice, they have difficulty meeting their dietary needs" (http://goo.gl/xromzz). Climate change is causing the ice to melt. Let's take action and protect the polar bears!
Today is World Social Justice Day. Social justice means a focus on equality with regards to wealth, opportunities and the way people are treated in a society. We believe that while humanity may not have achieved an entirely socially just world yet, there are countless people working towards this remarkable goal. If you believe in social justice, check out some of our videos, raise awareness about the issues you are passionate about. Let us know about sustainable solutions that you have seen that help to make the world a more socially just place!
