It’s Been a While...

Hello everyone, how have you all been? It’s been exactly one year since I signed off of this blog, and things have been going quite well since. First, I want to thank everyone who wished me well in my pursuit of achieving my life’s dream. Now that a year has passed by however, I felt it was high time I answer a few questions people had regarding this blog and it’s, as well as my own, future.

Will you be leaving your paranormal blog up or deleting?

For now, I don’t plan on deleting the blog. I updated this blog (nearly) everyday for four years of my life. To simply delete it because I’m no longer updating it would be quite a shame in my opinion.

Would you ever consider letting other people in to continue the good work you've done on this blog?

While I do appreciate the sentiment behind the idea, as well as the desires of so many to see this blog continue forth with new posts, should such an offer ever be made, I would have to respectfully decline.

As of now, I’m still plan on remaining fairly tight-lipped on the book’s plot. However, when I finish writing the book (which will hopefully be sometime during, or just after, this summer) and I enter the editing phase, I will release more concrete information regarding the plot.

Well that about wraps up this surprise update. I want to again thank everyone who sent me their well wishes. I’ve been passionately planning and writing this novel for years, and I’ve made significant progress in just this past year alone. 

I’m certain fans of all things supernatural will thoroughly enjoy what I’ve been working on. Hopefully my next update won’t take as long to come out as this one, but until then, I wish you all the very best!

The Beginning of a New Chapter

Hello everyone. I’d like to discuss the announcement I mentioned last week. As of today, I will no longer be posting to this blog. This was a decision that was not easy to make, but one that I found necessary.

As I’ve said in the past, my goal is to be a successful author. It’s a goal that will be challenging to achieve, which is why I need to dedicate my time and energy on my writing.

At the beginning of 2016, I shortened this blog’s update schedule in hopes of giving myself more time to write my book. However, I still found myself putting more time into this blog than my writing. In the end, I realized I could only choose one or the other.

While it’s been an absolute pleasure entertaining each and every one of you, it’s now time for me to move on.

Couple Captures Video of a Sasquatch in California.

While staying at a cabin in Truckee, California, a couple captured footage of what they believe shows a Sasquatch. According to the couple, the incident occurred in July of 2013.

In the video, a large humanoid figure can be seen pulling branches off of a tree. The creature then begins to walk away and notices the couple, who then flee in terror.

The couple says they were too afraid to upload the footage online or send it to someone. However, they both decided to submitted their footage to the YouTube channel “The Paranormal Review” after the channel featured a Bigfoot video captured by a man who says he was initially too afraid to show anyone else the footage out of fear of being ridiculed.

Many of those who have expressed skepticism believe the creature was nothing more than a person in a costume. Personally, I have to agree that this most-likely is just another hoax. However, we never get a clear shot of the creature, so it’s nearly impossible to say for sure just what exactly this figure was.

I’m interested in hearing your thoughts on this footage. Do you think it shows an actual Sasquatch? Or might this simply be another hoax?

Security Officer Captures Image of a Ghostly Figure.

This eerie image was captured by a security officer named Sue Rhodes, who claims she was checking the various security cameras at her job when she noticed this strange cloaked figure standing underneath a streetlamp. Sue says it was sleeting at the time and that nobody was in the area.

One commenter named ‘Carol’ believes in the possibility that the figure was merely a person on a bicycle. In my opinion, that’s certainly a plausible theory. However, the grainy quality does make it quite difficult to accurately determine just what exactly this figure was.

I’m interested in hearing your thoughts on this image. Do you think it shows an actual supernatural being? Or might this simply be a case of mistaken identity?

Minnesota Resident Captures Video of an Unknown Object.

On the night of September 12, 2013, a woman from Aitkin County, Minnesota, captured this video of a strange glowing object. The witness said the object was blinking and pulsating and that it was hovering and descending not too far off in the distance. The woman also claims the mysterious object would appear in the sky on a daily basis.

Many of those who are skeptical believe the glowing object may have been the moon behind some trees. However, there are those who still believe this was an actual extraterrestrial aircraft, or possibly even an entire fleet.

While there are some similarities between this object and the moon, it’s ultimately unclear just what exactly it was. What do you think? Does this video show an object(s) of otherworldly origin? Or might there be a more conventional explanation?

Bar Security Camera Captures Video of Poltergeist Activity.

A security camera recently captured video of an invisible force moving and knocking over various items inside a Moscow bar. The bizarre footage shows chairs being spun around, curtains being moved, and a Hookah pipe being knocked off of a table.

When speaking with local media, a waiter who was only identified as Vyacheslav said, “I sometimes hear a knocking on the door when nobody is around. There are strange noises all the time and sometimes the lights go on and off for no reason.”

Worried by the strange goings on, the bar’s owners contacted a group of Russian ghostbusters known as “Laboratoriya Nepozannogo”, also known as the “Lab of Unknown”. 

The group of paranormal experts gathered powerful magnetic readings during a series of tests, which they said indicated that a strong spectral presence was lurking nearby. The team of experts concluded that the poltergeist may be attracted to Vyacheslav, whose “low spirit” would be visible to a ghost.

Local police have offered up a more conventional explanation for the strange security footage. One officer said, “It seems more likely there was a break in and that for some technical reason the perpetrators were not recorded.”

As with most videos showing poltergeist activity, there’s always the possibility that the video was faked using fishing lines or elaborately designed mechanisms. The only thing that supports the video’s credibility is the evidence gathered by the team of ghost hunters. However, some might say that their finds aren’t enough to prove the footage is authentic.

I’m very much interested in hear your thoughts on this incident. Was a supernatural being is responsible for the events depicted in this video? Or do you believe there is a more conventional explanation?

Apparition Photographed at a Wisconsin Graveyard.

This eerie image, which was captured by two women named Maria and Anna Reinhart, shows what appears to be a ghostly apparition standing amongst the gravestones of a cemetery in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.

Unfortunately, there doesn’t appear to be any additional information regarding this photo. Judging by the figure’s appearance, it’s possible that it was simply a person dressed in a costume. That being said, the image’s poor quality makes it quite difficult to accurately determine just what exactly it was.

What do you think? Is the figure in question an actual spirit? Or might there be a more conventional explanation?

Ghostly Face Photographed in an Oregon Cemetery.

This image was captured by an Oregonian named Frankie Denton who says she and their sister when to an old cemetery late one night to capture images of orbs. 

Using their digital camera, they captured numerous orbs across many photos. However, Frankie says she came across this particular picture and noticed a strange face in the tree in the background.

While there does appear to be a face, it’s likely that it was simply a digital artifact. That being said, it’s still ultimately unclear just what exactly this anomaly was. What do you think? Does this image show the face of an actual spirit? Or is this merely a case of pareidolia?

Security Camera Captures Video of a Humanoid Creature in Turkey.

In the early morning hours of February 12th, 2016, a security camera in Diyarbakir, Turkey captured this footage of a strange humanoid creature walking down the street. For nearly a minute, the figure walks about aimlessly before levitating up into the air. 

It momentarily disappears off screen, only to land back in the middle of the street. From there, the figure slowly continues down the road, where it eventually disappears in the distance.

There are many theories as to what this figure may have been. Those who are skeptical believe it could’ve been either a balloon, a CGI effect, or even a dummy attached to a drone. Those who believe the figure to be something truly supernatural say it might’ve been a demonic being known as a Djinn.

Personally, I believe the figure to be a CGI effect, as that was my initial reaction upon seeing it for the first time. That being said, I’m still interested in hearing your thoughts on this footage. Do you think it shows an actual supernatural being? Or is there a more conventional explanation?

Snowboarder Unknowingly Captures Video of a Cigar-Shaped Object Flying Over Aspen.

In the early months of 2013, a man who was snowboarding down the chutes of a snow covered mountain in Aspen, Colorado decided to attach a GoPro camera to a selfie stick in order to capture video of his ride at a unique angle. Content with the footage he’d recorded, he uploaded it to YouTube.

Years later, in January of 2016, the man went to watch back his snowboarding video for old times’ sake. It was at this time that he saw something he’d failed to notice almost three years ago.

At around the 2:15 mark in the video, a strange cigar-shaped object can be seen appearing in the sky behind the snowboarder.

Despite a number of people speculating that the object was merely a helicopter, the man says he’s certain he didn’t see or hear anything out of the ordinary that day.

While some still believe the object was a helicopter, others have suggested that it was a red flag attached to a wire suspended high above the snow chute. At around the 1:12 mark in the video, some noticed a reddish colored object at a short distance down from where the snowboarder was. 

It’s believed that as he moved down the chute, the man passed under the flag, and the angle at which the footage wad captured caused it to appear as a high-flying cigar-shaped aircraft.

Personally, as much as I’d like for this to be something otherworldly, I have to agree that this was most-likely a flag. With that being said however, I’d still very much like to hear your thoughts on this footage. Do you think it shows an actual extraterrestrial aircraft? Or might this simply be a helicopter, or perhaps a strung up flag?

Ghoulish Apparition Photographed at the Pennhurst Asylum.

This eerie image, which shows what appears to be a ghoulish figure hovering above a bed, was reportedly captured by a visitor to the Pennhurst Asylum in Pennsylvania. The room where the photo was take was located on the first floor of the Asylum’s Mayflower Hall.

As unnerving as the image is, I theorize that this ghostly anomaly may have been something much more mundane. Given the buildings decrepit state and the figure’s appearance, it’s possible that it was a tattered curtain or a sheet of thin plastic tarp that was billowing around due to a draft that might been coming through the open window.

With all that being said however, I still believe there’s a chance (albeit a slim one) that this was truly something supernatural. What do you think? Does this image show an actual being from beyond the grave? Or might there be a more conventional explanation?

Ghost Hunters Capture Image of a Spectral Anomaly in Arkansas.

This image, known as the ‘Gurdon Man’, was captured in January of 2005 by a group of ghost hunters who were investigating some railroad tracks in Gurdon, Arkansas. One of the investigators, Alan L. Lowe, says he and the others were searching for something known as the ‘Gurdon Light’.

After crossing through a cemetery near the railroad tracks, Alan says one of his psychics told him they were being followed. Alan then turned and snapped this picture of what he says looks like a “blue energy shaped like a man crossing the tracks”.

According to legend, the ‘Gurdon Light’ is said to be a light coming from a lantern held by the spirit of a railroad worker who was decapitated by an oncoming train after falling onto the tracks. The man’s head was never found, and his ghost now wanders the tracks, searching for his missing head.

Another version of the legend states that the spirit is of a railroad foreman named William McClain who was killed near the tracks during a confrontation with on of his employees in 1931. 

Personally, I’m not quite sure what to make of this image. One could say the anomaly was some kind of glare or reflection. Another explanation could be that the camera malfunctioned when the picture was taken.

However, it could also be said that the image does indeed show an actual supernatural being, especially since the area is believed by many to be a hot spot for paranormal activity.

I’m interested in hearing your thoughts on this photograph. Do you think it truly shows a being from the other side? Or might there be a more conventional explanation?

Man Using Google Streetview Spots Two Ghouls Peering out the Windows of The Stuart Hotel.

While browsing Google Street View for fish and chip shops in Walton, Twitter user ‘Lallana Experiment’ made an eerie discovery when he came across The Stuart Hotel in Liverpool.

“I was looking on Google Street View to find a fish and chip shop in Walton, and I came across The Stuart Hotel.” He said. “Something in the top left hand window caught my eye. It looks like a ghostly image of an evil-looking face.”

“Look closely and it looks like it is breathing on the inside of the window. Next to the face is what looks like a man in a tuxedo and dickey bow.”

Tom Slemen, a local paranormal expert, says The Stuart Hotel is no stranger to the paranormal. “I cannot vouch for the authenticity of the faces in the windows; they do look eerie though.” Tom said when speaking with the Liverpool Echo.

“There are 150 haunted pubs in Liverpool, and the Stuart Hotel is one of them, although, as far as I know, most of the ghostly goings-on happened in the pub’s past.”

Tom explains that in 1897, the pub’s then landlord, Robinson Pemberton, reported hearing mysterious scratching noises that were coming from the cellar. At first, he believed the noises were coming from a rat. However, the noises started getting louder. They became so loud in fact, the neighboring home owners claimed they could hear them.

Three days later, the pub was shaken from top to bottom by an unseen force. The noises stopped after the incident, but it wasn’t long before another string of strange events occurred. One night, a drinker supposedly knocked three times on the pub’s walls one night. He was shocked when he heard three knocks answer back.

Mysterious noises began emanating from the cellar once again. The sounds of a distant ringing bell were also heard for a week. These unexplainable events continued to go on until one day, a priest from St. Mary’s Church left a Bible in the pub’s cellar. Since that day, no one has reported hearing any unusual sounds coming from the cellar.

While the image is indeed creepy, I’m not convinced these were actual spirits. In my opinion, it’s highly likely that these were either mannequins that were purposefully set up by the window or two people dressed in costumes who were waiting for the Google Street View car to drive by and capture this creepy sight. 

With all that being said, I’d still very much like to know your thoughts on this image. Do you think it shows a pair of real ghosts? Or might these two figures simply be mannequins or costumed people?

Police Dashboard Camera Captures Video of a Ghostly Figure.

While driving down a dark, desolate road, a police officer captured this video on their dash cam of a ghostly figure appearing in the middle of the road. The officer passes through the figure and immediately comes to a stop. 

As the officer turns around and slowly drives back to where the figure appeared, the apparition materializes once more as it makes it’s way across the road before disappearing.

Some believe the footage shows a genuine spirit. Others however, believe the figure was either a cloud of fog or a CGI effect. Personally, as much as I’d like for this to be real, I can’t help but think that this is a hoax. 

Many of those who are skeptical have pointed out that when the figure appears for a second time, it seems to vanish behind a “wall”. While difficult to see due tot he low quality, I was able to make out this “wall” others were seeing.  Now I can’t say for sure if it’s truly there or not, but if it is, then this “wall” would most-likely be an indication that the footage was indeed tampered with.

I’m interested in hearing your thoughts on this footage. Do you think this officer had an encounter with an actual spirit? Or might this simply be an elaborate hoax?

Shadow Figure Photographed in the Catacombs of Paris.

This eerie image, which was reportedly captured in the catacombs of Paris, shows a shadowy figure standing at the bend of one of the catacomb’s many maze-like hallways.

It’s hard to say for sure if this image does indeed show something supernatural. On one hand, the Paris catacombs are thought to be haunted by the spirits of those who died there. On the other hand however, it’s possible that this figure was merely an optical illusion.

What do you think? Does this image show an actual spirit? Or might this simply be a case of pareidolia?

Man Captures Video of a Smoking Object Over Russia.

While driving down the road of the central Russian city of Kemerovo, a man by the name of Mikhail Litvinov captured this video of an object leaving behind a large trail of smoke. The video attracted quite a bit of attention shortly after it was uploaded online. When speaking with Russian news site ‘Komsomolskaya’, Mikhail said, “From my side I hope it was a shooting star.”

In an effort to figure out just what exactly this object may have been, journalists for the Russian news site ‘Bloknot’ contacted Russian airborne forces, who said that there were no registered incidents that took place in the skies above Kemerovo during the time of the sighting that involved either crashed aircraft or meteorites.

There are numerous theories on this objects identity. Some say it may have been a burning piece of space junk, others say meteorite, and a few think it might’ve simply been a plane leaving behind a contrail. What do you think? Does this video show an otherworldly object? Or is there a more conventional explanation?

Witness Captures Video of a Yeti at a Spanish Ski Resort.

A witness who was visiting the Formigal-Panticosa ski resort in Spain, recently captured photos, along with this video, of what looks to be a Yeti roaming around the slopes of the resort. The photos were posted on the forum ForoCoches.com on January 29th, 2016, while the video was later posted to YouTube in early February.

The witness explains they were out with their friends skiing when they spotted the creature. The witness says they went on to inform the resort of what they saw, but claim the resort didn’t take their story seriously.

After the photos and video went viral, the ski resort took to their official Facebook page to inform everyone that they spoke with the witness and searched the area where the creature was sighted. After finding no traces of the Yeti, the resort said they believe there is no cause for alarm and reassured everyone that security is always guaranteed.

Many of those who are skeptical of the footage theorize that the Yeti was simply a person in a costume. Personally, while I agree with that theory, I’m still very much interested in hearing your thoughts on this sighting. Do you think this being was an actual Yeti? Or was it merely a costumed person?
