Love this song!
Love a tee that's simple and to the point. This one, titled Pipa Gangster, sells out of the Netherlands via Fristee. Check it out!
This beautifully ornate women's ring is by Bottega Veneta. It is hand-carved out of blackened oxidized sterling silver.
Absolutely love Huck Gee's latest custom Dunny, Ornery Panda Shinsengumi! Only ten of these bad boys were made and each one sells for $750 USD. Also, keep an eye out for the 3" version of this ornery panda to be included in Huck Gee's recently announced Gold Life Dunny Series. Congratulations to Huck Gee on continuing to put out some high quality urban vinyl works.
French photographer Hedi Slimane's pictures have a beautifully dark quality about them that really draw you in.
This is the second in a series of handmade character sketchbooks called Junkies by artist Przemek Blejzyk. The characters are painted on wooden sheets which are subsequently cut in half to allow for the intermixing of character tops and bottoms. The artwork is awesome, but the fact that you can mix characters together makes this book so much more fun to look through.
These boots serve as another great example of a collaboration that works. This time between Mark McNairy and workwear brand Empresas ADOC. The combination of triple stitching on suede uppers really make these boots stand out for me. In addition, the extra-thick vulcanized rubber sole add durablility and functionality to a workboot with a modern, clean silhouette. As you can see, it comes in four different colors: tan, navy, chocolate and grey. They are available for purchase exclusively from Opening Ceremony.
This limited edition steel tricycle from James Perse just makes me want to be a kid again!
At first glance the illustration above might appear hand drawn, but in reality it was hand cut out of paper. The talented designer, JT Yean, cites the story of Jonah and the Whale as inspiration for this beautifully created paper art piece. As part of his creative process JT Yean humorously reveals on his Tumblr site, "I asked myself, how would it feel to be in someone’s stomach?".
I am a sucker for great looking fall / winter down vests, and this one from Italian brand Stone Island is no exception. It's from their Shadow Project collection and intended to be affixed to the interior of other Stone Island Shadow Project garments to improve insulation. However, I think it looks terrific worn on it's own as a lightweight outer layer.
Providing both functionality and style, this classic looking quilted hunter's hat from Barbour is a great choice for keeping warm this fall / winter season.
Clockwise from the top: Dolce & Gabbana Quilted Jacket, Alexander McQueen Two Tone Leather Boots, Kent Wang Polo.
These images are stills taken from designer Tom Darracott's latest short film "Kiss Kiss". When conceiving the film the designer was drawn to the "Pop Art idea of elevating mundane, everyday objects into totems of high luxury and decadence". There is definitely something hypnotic about the shine and polish of the rendered objects included in the film.
Not so long ago I posted about this hilarious book meant for parents who have experienced the frustration of getting their little ones to sleep. Well now it has been released as an audiobook and is narrated by Samuel L. Jackson. It is seriously ten times funnier when read by him. The best part is you can download it for free!
This insane looking wallpaper is by eBoy, a collective of three designers: Kai Vermehr, Steffen Sauerteig and Svend Smital. Their website explains that they "create re-usable pixel objects and take them to build complex and extensible artwork". Complex is most definitely an adjective I would use in describing the New York cityscape they have created for this wallpaper on behalf of Wallpaper Republic. The intense use of color and high degree of detail applied to the artwork is nothing short of amazing! Additional cityscapes are available as well. Definitely check them out.
