So are there any agents that are marked “ABSOLUTELY NOT” when they send specialist agents to help the team? Cuz, I would be surprised if there were specific agents that offended/harmed the Fam than others after the funeral. Like, genuine risk of agent being crippled or dying

Absolutely.

There are certain Agents who are banned from interacting with DEI bc of who Perry used to be (like his mentor Florence the Flamingo, former partner and best friend of Penelope the Platypus. She semi-retired after learning about Perry's 'death', outraged that she wasn't allowed to know anything about his death other than it happening but not quite able to break away from the fight of Good vs Evil after dedicating her whole life to it), certain Agents who are banned bc Perry knows their reputations (there are agents who are skilled enough to handle DEI, but they also do a lot of the more black-ops dirty work like assassinations; if an Agent like that was assigned to DEI, even if it was solely for nemesis work, OWCA higher-ups believe there's a good chance of Perry and Heinz killing them out of caution), and one or two Agents who have legal orders keeping them away from the family, some of the kids in particular (I've dropped hints about one Certain Incident a few years after the Funeral, I'm curious if I've left enough for anyone to pick up on it yet).

Does Dennis ever meet or befriend the other teens? Like he meets Jeremy immediately dislikes each other because of how they are connected to Candace? Or hits it off with Stacy because of their fighting skills?

Dennis will get the chance to make some friends, but not until he's given more leeway by OWCA than what his current mentor will allow

So you know how Irving is like the biggest Phineas and Ferb fanboy (and kinda stalkerish) but doesn’t reveal himself or befriend them until later in the show? Does that hold true still in the NE AU?

Cuz, the kid apparently lives in the neighborhood but idk if he was part of the group that were warned off OWCA. And the amount of material he managed to photograph and collect of them is pretty impressive. Though the lock of hair is a bit much. But he might be one of the kids that OWCA would target, even if as an intern or surveillance.

I hadn't thought much about Irving yet, but this actually gave me some ideas.

Dennis and Candace actually end up closer to the 'friends' end of 'frenemies' once Dennis becomes more settled as her nemesis; as opposed to Vanessa and Monty, who are out for blood for a hot minute until even glancing at the term 'frenemies'.

They genuinely have overlapping interests, and a contrasting set of skills that is gonna make for some fun cat-and-mouse-esque shenanigans. (He's a prodigy at infiltration and disguises, and she's actually a really good detective, I just havent had a good time to show that skill set of Candace's yet)

So Dennis doesn't need to worry about losing his collectables unless he and Candace ever make some kind of bet.

i like when fiction treats love as a more complicated force and not something that is inherently pure or redemptive. portray it as flawed and complex as any other human impulse. give me love as prejudice, love as possessive stasis, love as addiction, love as blindness, etc.
