(I would put this under a read more but I’m on my phone so I can’t)
Okay but genuinely dickbabs and spitfire are two of my biggest NOTPs but I’m still mad for the fans who like those couples because YJ fed you literal crumbs and you’re gobbling it up telling grandon what a good feast they prepared aksjdhshdb.
Y’all should be mad at how Wally treated Artemis. Y’all should be mad at the baby limbo dream. Y’all should be mad that Dick and Babs had 0 on screen development and like a few pages of development in the comic. Y’all should be mad we know next to nothing about Babs as a person.
But why am I surprised since half of y’all only ship them because you think Wally or Dick is hot and Babs and Artemis as characters don’t actually matter, you just want girls you can project your crushes onto.
Haven’t posted in a long ass while but I’m adding to this old post. First off I agree with everything here BUT for different reasons which is why I’m reblogging.
Dick, Wally and Roy are some of my favorite if not my favorites in DC. So the fact that we get them but not them, pisses me off. Wally in the comics is a rare breed of ass and sweetheart, very much a flirt but also straight up paying no mind to women who do really want him. Not in a “He likes the chase” but a “He can’t read a room” way. This does make it that women DO like him and (to my memory) never made it that he harassed a girl into liking him or for not liking him. Wally is a jerk in this show and I hate it. I hate the idea that kids would watch this show and think: 1 Wally is like this. 2 This is how romance starts.
Yes, Wally doesn’t get Miss.M (She’s bad too) but he never says sorry for his actions either. Romance isn’t a back and fourth then a kiss. Women have feelings that need to be respected and so do men. Megan should have tried TALKING to Wally. Teach young people to say “Hey stop.” Don’t march forward this idea that when a woman says “back off” or nothing, she’s okay with it.
Artemis has NO REASON to Wally... Like none. None of them are really shown to really like or know each other. Like Aqua-lad states Roy is his best friend on land but we only see them together in the mole arc. Which is my problem with this show. It tells you these guys are friends but never shows it. In the comics the titans were very tight, calling each other family and acting as such (Donna dating Kyle and the others acting like big brothers. Lian calling all of them Aunt and Uncle) None of these guys feel like they understand each other in any meaningful way beside Dick and Wally (And even then it may just be my love for them) On the JLU cartoon flash and subsistence, Orion talks to batman about how Wally is a clown and he doesn’t understand it. Batman gets Wally, his heart is in the right place and truly cares, he’s easy to talk to and wants to help, even the villains. Wally never really gets a moment in YJ to really shine. None of them do. But Artemis needs something to cling to, something to sell the pairing, for Wally to be likable or for them to gel. A something that isn’t an old man naming their ship. It should have been him being the first to trust her or she opens up to him about her family FIRST and in private. SOMETHING that made THEM partners not part of a team.

This really is an attack on women. A lot of Female creators do toy and craft reviews. They are made for Parents (GreatBigToyBox) or others (Dollmotion, Dollsbrandnewlook) sharing in the hobbies. Comic books, art, Doll repaints, video games, ANYTHING youtube wants to label “for kids” will target men and women. This targets everyone but it really is pointing a finger at women for having these interests. Again I’m not saying this won’t affect men. This is control. Bottom line.
Proving a point to my boyfriend.
PLEASE REBLOG if you (male or female) believe it is perfectly okay and natural for a guy of any age to cry
I’ve never hit reblog faster or harder.

Do humans get the zoomies? I sure hope so! I just love them, but it’s so sad doing them alone!
Hi, I’m Rosie from Providence Animal Center in Media, Pennsylvania. My love of zooming doesn’t mean I don’t know how to chill. In fact, I like it so much I would enjoy being an only child in a quiet family even though I get along great with other dogs!
I like walks and hikes, and at 40 pounds, I’m the perfect size for any home! I’m also house and crate trained, and love greeting new friends when out on walks. Including small humans! They’re so cute!
I think I could put my best paw forward if we met… just email [email protected] to set it up.
Love,
Rosie
PS - someone loves me so much that they have sponsored my adoption fee! This means I can go home with my new forever family at no fee – and you can spend all your savings on nice treats and bandanas for me!

https://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/11/14/uk-government-blasts-charities-white/
Charities must do more to ensure boards “reflect the communities they serve”, the charity watchdog has warned, after a report found the vast majority of trustees are white.
The Charity Commission urged charities to encourage applications from women, young people, and ethnic minorities, presenting research which revealed that 92 per cent of trustees are white and more than half are retired.
“There is a danger that charity trustee boards might become myopic in their views,” said the report, which was commissioned by the Office for Civil Society and the Charity Commission.
According to the survey of 3,500 trustees in England and Wales, men outnumber women by two to one on charities’ boards, with the average age between 55 and 64.
“Trustees make a vital contribution to our society and communities up and down the country rely on their voluntary efforts,” said Helen Stephenson, chief executive of the Charity Commission.
But she warned charities must take action to “promote diverse trusteeship”, stating: “Trustees do not reflect the communities charities serve.
“Charities are therefore at risk of missing out on the widest range of skills, experience and perspective at board level,” she added, claiming that the underrepresentation of certain demographics “also puts charities at risk by creating a culture of ‘group think’ where decision making can go unchallenged.”
In a piece analysing the report, Civil Society Media editor David Ainsworth remarked that while “at first glance, it looks self-evidently true that diversity is a huge problem for charity boards”, the issue is more complex.
“It is not necessarily the case” that the boards of small voluntary bodies in England and Wales are particularly unrepresentative, he argued, pointing out that a large number of such organisations are “overwhelmingly used by older people — who are also much whiter than the general population”.
As a result, Mr. Ainsworth said it is “hard to level any criticism at these bodies”, asserting that their boards consist of “people who are willing to do the job” and that trustees “are giving up substantial time for relatively little reward, in order to provide a service for their peers”.
“Given the difficulties of social disengagement faced by many elderly white men, perhaps – rather than complaining – we should be celebrating that they are finding something meaningful and making a strong contribution,” he added.
Contending that “it’s easy to measure age, gender and so on”, the Civil Society Media editor also suggested that “the real benefit of diversity” to organisations “comes from getting different viewpoints around the table”.
______
Plenty more to it, but the TL:DR; basically comes down to we want the old white mans money, but they should get less of a say in how we spend it.
It’s a sensationalist headline as is expected from Brietbart, but not wholly inaccurate.
