Few things I love about Lovely Complex (the anime, not the live action) are the slapstick humour and the exaggerated facial expressions by the characters. See how Otani and Risa are drawn when they are surprised or bickering with each other. I’ve re-watched some of the episodes and never fail to laugh again. 

Rating: 4.5/5. I love the main characters - they’re strong, believable, and well-developed. Love all the tracks on its OST. Highly recommended if you want a lighthearted romance drama (but beware there are parts where you will cry - especially the ‘bear curry’ episode - if you know what I mean). Please watch because my review doesn’t do justice to this awesome anime. There are only 24 episodes (~20 minutes per episode) so it’s fairly binge-able.
