Accuracy and precision
The banded archerfish (Toxotes jaculatrix) lurks in the tropical estuarines waters of India, Austria and Polynesia, where they use a manipulative tool to get their prey to come to them. By flattening their gills covers the archerfish use the force of water to capture its prey. After collecting water within its mouth, the archerfish uses the roof of its mouth and their tongue to shoot water from their mouth. This force knocks their unexpecting prey into the water above them.
