❕❕ New ? How to Start Reading!
An informative guide by @cowplant-snacks
Read the childhood recap (quick) or all of Gen 5 (less quick):
This part is where you get some much needed backstory.
Read about The Pit: This is where you find out more about Val’s journey.
Start the current Storyline: You WANT to get to this point.
Posting violently and sporadically.
Want to read it live? 💙 The most current updates and loose gameplay spam are posted on my bluesky page first.
CURRENTLY POSTING:
🌻: HERE COMES THE SUN (MAIN PLOTT)
not doomed by the narrative but saved by the narrative. yeah i know you'd rather die than keep suffering but the story doesn't actually care what you want. you have to keep going, even when it hurts. even being erased from existence won't stop you from being salvaged from the wreckage of un-being. get up. keep pushing. keep bleeding. keep living.
Argent: Oh HELL no.
Now it is bad enough I gotta listen to Taylor Swift this whole update - you do NOT come at my Agents quotin' Panic! at the Disco. That's too far.
Argent: We have agreements in place for these things Von Klein. Weddings and Funerals are off limits. Remember?
Max: To League Members and U.N.I.T. Agents -
Queenie: Of which he is neither.
Max: SHit -
Max: Queenie - Please. I can still be useful!
Queenie: Don't beg Max.
It's Pathetic.
It wasn't a discussion. It was an execution.
Deliverance. Sent with a resounding CRACK - as the bullet shattered the defector's skull, tearing through soft tissue - unceremoniously decorating the delicate white petals lining the aisle with a spray of blood and chunks of brain matter.
Simone: We had an agreement Queenie.
Queenie: Oh calm down darling. I'm not here to ruin your little party.
Just doing some… pest control.
Queenie: I'm afraid Von Klein wasn't too happy with the results of the board vote last year.
Queenie: Couldn't possibly bear the thought of a woman in charge. Skittered off with his tail firmly tucked between his legs.
We've been waiting on him to resurface ever since.
Simone: Congratulations.
Queenie: It's what we deserve - isn't it my dear?
Queenie: Though I couldn't have done it without your little snake pulling Ego out of the picture.
Consider this a wedding present.
Queenie: Some of us still have a sense of decorum.
The treaty stands.
Queenie: Wouldn't want any more repeats of your wedding - would we Simone?
Queenie: Enjoy the day children.
You never really know how many you have left.
On an otherwise unremarkable Tuesday -
On a small, innocuous island off the coast of Brindleton Bay -
Hidden inside a time and weather beaten church lot -
Something extraordinary was taking place.
To a Secret Agent, lust was a commodity.
Something to be used, traded for information, access - keys that opened locked doors.
But a real love, an open one, was far more dangerous.
It was a challenge.
One everyone in the room understood. Had experienced in some way, some quiet form.
- and all unequivocally vowed to protect.
They were her family.
And you don't fuck with family.
Maximilian Von Klein: My, my! What a beautiful Wedding.
Maximilian Von Klein: You all look so nice. But 𝙊𝙝! What a shame.
What a shame the poor groom's bride is a 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲.
- Fellow Agents of the International United Intelligence Taskforce,
- Welcome. 🎹🎻
Today we gather here, under the grace of the Watcher's light, to unite two family trees - in what should be hopefully be a glitch free ceremony.
One one side of the altar stands my Special Intelligence Agent.
Designation: 008; Infiltration Operative and- most importantly my Angel, Miss Katelyn Evelyn Miller.
From the day Head Office transferred you to my sector, I think I spent half our time together with my foot up your ass.
The other half? Proudly watching you grow into the firestorm you are today.
Considering your fellow agents in this room, you already know how impressive of a ratio that is.
And my other side? Mr. Diego Luis García.
Take a good look. Because standing in front of you all, is a good man.
A good man is dependable, honest, and above all - dedicated.
When you stepped across that threshold Mr. García, you demonstrated your commitment to this union, and to my Agent.
Because out there - out there lies the last bastion. Of safety, of security, of normalcy. And in here?
Unknowns and Uncertainties.
Mr. García, today you find yourself joining not just one family, but two.
We regret that we can not share this happiness with more friends and family today. As I suspect many of you know already, love is a tricky thing in our work -
We must choose what lengths we are willing to go to, who we are willing to risk. As operatives it's not always an easy choice.
So we keep our voices down, tuck our entanglements in a quiet place, deep and secure.
But when we do have these moments?
Days full of love and respect, rare and sacred -
- we come together to celebrate life out loud.
You stand on a precipice.
When you leave this safehouse today, you walk out hand in hand with a woman already familiar with the darkness.
One that understands the challenges lurking in shadows better than anyone.
But if I am correct, and I usually am - your bravery, kindness, and warmth will be the light that guides you both through.
And that - Mr. García, makes you more than a good man.
