Rep. Tim Johnson, R - IL: Representative Tim Johnson of Illinois (not to be confused with the Democratic senator from South Dakota of the same name) writes in support of the town of Normal's TIGER grant application for money for a multimodal transportation center.
Rep. Howard "Buck" McKeon: Buck McKeon writes to Secretary LaHood in support of getting federal funding for a large transportation project in California. Job creation is cited as a major plus on the second page.
Rep. Gus Bilirakis, R - FL: Representative Bilirakis writes two letters in support of TIGER grant applications. The first is for a widening of a boulevard in Hillsborough Country, Florida, which will cost $16 mil. The second is for transportation infrastructure in Pinellas County, Florida and will create 1,800 short-term jobs and over 10,000 in the long-term, according to the letter.
Rep. Lynn Jenkins, R - KS: Representative Jenkins writes to express her "strong support" of a TIGER grant application from Oklahoma and Kansas for a freight railway network.

Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-AL: Senator Jeff Sessions penned not one but five letters (click to enlarge) to Secretary LaHood between September 18th and November 3rd of 2009. All five letters are in support of different TIGER grant applications for different towns and counties in his home state of Alabama.

Rep. Zach Wamp, R-TN: Representative Wamp writes in support of TIGER funds for a transportation improvement project in Chattanooga, TN. He writes that currently, "federal support for the project is limited to less than 10% of the funding packed pledged" by the state and local governments.

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R-CA: Representative Rohrabacher writes to Secretary LaHood in support of a TIGER grant for the California State University Long Beach. The project would fund improvements to transportation infrastructure. In the letter he cities the City of Long Beach's 13.7 unemployment rate, as compared to the national rate, which was only 9.7% at the time.
Rep. John Linder, R-GA: Representative Linder expresses his strong support in a letter to Secretary LaHood for the Pleasant Hill Road Bridge Replacement Initiative through the TIGER program.
Rep. Mike Pence, R-IN: Congress Mike Pence writes in strong support of application for $6,295,000 in TIGER grants for Muncie, Indiana's Downtown Economic Enhancement Project.
Rep. Anh "Joseph" Cao, R-LA: Representative Cao, who served Louisiana's 2nd district from 2009 to 2011, writes in support of the New Orleans Street Car Expansion Project for New Orleans. While Cao assures LaHood that 43.1% of the $212 mil project will be paid with local funds, and thus the federal government will only have to provide 56.9%.
Rep. Gregg Harper, R-MS: In October of 2009 Representative Harper wrote a letter to Secretary LaHood expressing his strong support for the East Mississippi Intermodal Rail Corridor. The $5.25 billion project aims to improve shipping to the state, and, according to Harper's letter, is "vital to delivering increased economic development and job creation opportunities."
Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-SC, and Rep. John Spratt, D-SC: The two Congressmen write in support for the Dave Lyle Boulevard Extension Project in South Carolina. Their letter to Secretary LaHood claims that the project will create 14,000 construction jobs, many of which would not be involved in the road construction itself.
