How gully's parents met and died His mother was traveling to the imperial city with her mother and a small entourage of guards and maids and whatnot, and his father was watching from afar (likely he was weighing the risks of robbing them, since he made a living as a thief). When he saw the lovely maiden, thoughts of a heist vanished and he wanted only to meet her. Unable to think of anything graceful to say, he managed to snatch a very valuable looking ring (in truth, it's a ring containing a small shard of the amulet of kings; the magic is still in it, even though it was smashed) away from her; he waited for the ring to be missed and waited for her to offer a reward for it. When she did, he returned the ring and refused to accept the reward. She was none the wiser to his scheme, which had gone as planned. After a bit of talking, they find that they actually have a lot in common. A few days later they find themselves at the same tavern; he precedes to make an absolute fool of himself to amuse her, and succeeds (to the dismay of the barkeep, who is tired of picking up his mess but says "at least it's over a pretty lady this time, usually he's just drunk"). She finds herself really beginning to like this odd, klutzy bosmer. He has an infectious joy and love for life. He admits, a few weeks into courting her officially, that he stole her ring for the sole purpose of meeting her. To his surprise, she is not angry and is instead actually impressed that he managed to get it without her knowledge. She does call him a very awkward elf, and says that he could've just said hello.

Diaden Lathvhen, formerly a tyrant, now perhaps it's time for a redemption arc. He's certainly had long enough to contemplate his actions.

Some ancient Fen Children. They were part of a coup to overthrow Keeper Diaden Lathvhen. The coup failed miserably, though the tyrant was killed later in a separate coup. The group started with eight members, these were the three left standing when they surrendered. Zen sent a final message to Keeper Diaden detailing the grisly deaths of every elf in their group, but he was lying about Vai and Rav to keep them safe. Zen followed Lathvhen while the other two fled the Dales to seek more normal lives. When he saw them struggle, he scouted ahead and quietly, secretly led them to the lands they now occupy. He left marks that remain around the land, messages carved into ruins and trees. Later, he left messages on landmarks in the nearby village that Lathvhen trades with, allowing the clan's lore-keeper to date the messages, as the village has only existed for a few decades. He has not been seen, nor have the other two, but it is highly likely that all three still live. Keeper Diaden may have used trinkets taken from the group to curse them with immortality.
