Hi, everyone. I’m Vei (or Devon).
I am a 21 year-old bisexual transgender boy who lived in an abusive household for 21 years. In September 2016 I was diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety after a suicide attempt and years of self-harm and had to drop out of the high-maintenance college program I had chosen (AKA nursing).
Thankfully, I have since been able to leave the house itself and take temporary refuge with a friend’s family, though my family still knows where I am and has many means of getting in contact with me. They still have many of my things, including most of my clothes, my mail, and the contract for my car- which I have paid over $9,000 for through them over the past three years. (Not a good idea, apparently.)
Unfortunately, my friend’s family will be moving out of state this coming summer.
As a solution, my partner has kindly suggested that I take up residence with him on the west coast in April.
This would be perfect, if I could gather the remainder of my car payment (around $6,000) by then. However, my current job does not pay enough for me to cover my medical bills (health insurance, medicine, therapy visits), car insurance, gas, or rent, let alone the $6000 I will need to pay off my car by April.
I have sold the majority of my DVDs, CDs, Videogames, and books to try to save up, but I can’t seem to get the money together.
If anyone has any suggestions that could help me, please contact me by direct message here. Someone suggested I open a donation box on PayPal, so I will provide a link to it on my blog and my twitter account if there is anyone willing to contribute.
**Edit: I managed to figure it out, and my link is here at Paypal.me. Please don’t mind the name. I haven’t been able to legally change mine, yet, sadly.
If you don’t have any ideas or can’t donate, please don’t feel guilty or bad in any way- I know everyone has needs and I know I’m not entitled to anyone’s help. I am, however, always and ever-grateful for the help I do receive. Even just reblogging this would mean so much to me.
Thank you so much, and I wish for your safety and happiness.
