Fools Overture, one of my favorite Supertramp songs.
New version of "Long and Long Ago" by Glass Hammer featuring Jon Davison of Yes. Check out my review of the deluxe edition of The Inconsolable Secret.
One of my favorite David Bowie songs.
Andy Tillison, Guy Manning, and Hugh Banton play "Man Erg" by Van der Graaf Generator
Jethro Tull - Ring Out, Solstice Bells
(Songs from the Wood, 1977)
From Haken's upcoming album The Mountain.
A preview track from Haken's upcoming album The Mountain.
This is the video for "Sentinel," the opening track of KingBathmat's new album Overcoming the Monster. Check out my review.
I'm back from vacation. Here is Transatlantic performing "Duel With the Devil."
Happy 4th of July! Here's a song about America (kind of). Disicpline's "America" w/ some guys from Echolyn.
Some classic proto prog, featuring everyone's favorite eccentric rocker, Ted Nugent!
Here's Steve Hackett's new rendition of the Genesis classic "Supper's Ready," this time featuring the vocal talent of Opeth's Mikael Åkerfeldt. Also singing on the track are Simon Collins, Conrad Keeley, Steve Hackett himself, and Francis Dunnery. Quite a distinguished cast!
A documentary style teaser trailer for Dream Theater's forthcoming album.
Another teaser track from The Tangent!
A teaser track from The Tangent.
This teaser for The Tangent's new album Le Sacre Du Travail champions its lack of orcs, aliens, and giant hogweed. It's a tongue in cheek jab at fantasy/sci-fi prog rock, and it's pretty amusing. This album is apparently a down to earth concept album about working class folk. I can't wait to get my hands on it. Unfortunately I have to wait an extra month for it to come in the US, it's slated for release July 23rd here in the States, it comes out June 24th in Europe & UK.
