She paused when he apologized, eyebrow slowly arching and head tilting a bit. That was the last thing she had ever expected to come from him. After years of back and forth issues and fights and torment.. an apology was not what she had expected to come from him. “You’re.. oh..” she said, not exactly sure how to handle the apology. Now she felt like an ass.. “You actually want to talk to me? Like.. not argue, actually talk like normal people?” she asked, not very good at hiding her disbelief before she let out a long sigh and nodded. “Yeah okay, I don’t have another class for the rest of the day... so maybe we can go get food.. i’m kind of starving.” she admitted, shoulders lifting in a small shrug.

“I didn’t realize…” she said, hearing about his injury. she could only imagine having to give up something you truly had a passion for. she couldn’t do that with music unless she had to so, so she could imagine the pain he might have felt. “what kind of injury was it, if you don’t mind me asking.” she said smiling, in hopes it would get him to open up more. blushing as he joked about his lesser talent, she shook her head. “the one good thing about music is that it’s universal.” she smirked. “while we may not ALL have the talent to actually do it, it brings so many people together.” she said fondly. “and i would love to sing for you. just say when!”

Holding his hand up, he grabbed the collar of his jacket and pulled it back to show a fresh scar resting on the dip of his neck where it met his shoulder. It was still pink and irritated looking, only recently sealing up from the gun shot wound he had suffered from. “It looks worse than it feels.. now.” he said with a soft chuckle before he let the jacket fall back into place, covering the scar. His lips turned up into a small smile at the blush, teeth coming out to nip at his lower lip a bit as he tilted his head and watched her. “I’ve always loved music. I will admit, I had a dark emo phase where music was the only thing that saved me.” he said with a soft laugh “Maybe tonight?” he asked referring to her offer to sing for him.

Hey guys! Sorry for being non existent these past few days. Family moved in with us and it’s been chaos getting them settled in. I’m gonna try and sit down with my laptop tonight and finish up the changes to the blog and do replies.
