LOVE stitch
One year ago, the US Supreme Court legalized marriage for all US Citizens. This included marriage between same-sex partners. The world did not implode, “God” did not bring down the wrath, and divorce rates didn’t change. Aside from many happy Americans, the only real change was the boost in businesses who specialize in wedding services. Our fight for rights is not over. Everyday many LGBTQ+ Citizens are denied jobs, denied health services, denied the ability to live, and are under constant scrutiny from religious sects and homophobia. We will overcome these injustices just as we have overcome all other injustices against in the past. (image credit: Dean Dubois)
