Apparently critics have complained about how SiX isn't as feminist as it could be because it doesn't pass the Bechdel Test... some of y'all are brainrotted. A huge point of SiX is supposed to be that women should not stand for only being remembered as a footnote in a man's life, and that we should remember historical women for more than who they were married to. "Ummm it doesn't pass the Bechdel Test" it's about how people only remember their names because of the man they married. Like, he's gonna come up quite a lot.

The Bechdel Test was about being able to pretend characters were queer and if you think that you won't be able to do that with this musical I have some great news for you about how historically marriages were largely political and also about how the majority of Queendom fanfiction that isn't gen or canon compliant is F/F.

"It's just six heterosexual narratives in a row" okay worstie a) women who date men ALSO need feminist narratives where people like them get to say things like "That was fucked up and it shouldn't have happened to me!" and then make their own choices that focus on their own happiness, and b) it's literally about how these women's lives should not have been reduced to six heterosexual narratives in the first place.

Yeah. Yeah exactly @the-nettle-knight. It's kinda like yelling at a historian that it's racist to reference the N word in their paper about slave owners' conscious efforts to dehumanize their black slaves. Like I think the discussion of six heterosexual marriages is going to be a pretty important plot point in a story about the women remembered by history almost solely for being the six wives of Henry VIII, actually.

Queens, wake up! New UK/International Tour cast has just been revealed. The current cast will go to China for 8 weeks while the new cast will do the UK tour stops during the same period! After that, the current UK tour cast will go on to perform until August 30. This new cast will start on September 2, 2025 onwards.

Also, Lexi return??? Who had this in their SIXGO card? And aside from her, who among them are returning queens?
