He wrapped his arms around her neck and snuggled close to her. “I stay with you?”

"Unfortunately, that's up to your papa, I can't decide that." She slowly petted his soft hair.

"Okay, but hear me out: we buy the candy, turn all the lights off so it looks like we’re not home, and then eat all the candy alone in the dark and forget about the trick-or-treaters.”

Regina chuckled and patted her son's head. "You already know you have a candy restriction, do you really think I'd let you sit in the dark with a whole bowl of candy?"

Regina found herself pushing the sheriff against the nearest surface and pressing against her. Her lips traced along the blonde's jawline before nipping her chin.

Regina tried not to smile at his words, though they did leave her feeling satisfaction. "Oh dear, she's your mother, how is she mean?"

So perhaps you will return for round two of a game you cannot win.” He chuckled heartlessly. “Though I suppose it will make for fine entertainment.”

Regina glanced sideways at the imp, annoyed by his truthful words. "Perhaps my round two will be less physical then. I have ways of winning." She slid her glove back on and smirked at him. "Without entertaining you of course."

They thought they would make it, the two had been hurrying down the street, but the downpour hit fast and the two laughed as they ran for cover. Not finding any nearby Regina turned to her wife and chuckling pulled their lips together.

8. Scary Movie Night

Regina grumbled as she popped the dvd into the player and sat on the couch. It wasn’t that she hated scary movies, it was just that she didn’t see the point in being scared pointlessly. Not that those silly movies scared her, of course they didn’t. She tried to hide her grim expression when Robin came in with the popcorn. “Are you ready? If you get too scared you can always hold my hand.”
