Even though I love the spooky myth of contaminated candy, I want to point out that no children have died in America due to consuming contaminated candy from strangers on Halloween. Sadly, a few have perished from consuming poisoned candy that was prepared and given to them by their own parents. So please, take your kids out into the neighborhoods on Halloween, and stop all this overprotective parenting - shopping mall trick or treating - trunk or treating.
