I work in animation. A client said this after I quoted him a price for a five-minute animation with a handful of unique characters with complex movement and interaction:
Client: I dunno… that seems like a lot. I’ll think about it.
Of course, he’d bragged about how much he makes earlier, but whatever.
Half an hour later, I heard him speaking to someone else about a project that didn’t involve me:
Client: I have a video I want to make where I wrangle a bunch of homeless people and get them to play basketball against me, and I just absolutely destroy them. Man, that would be great, I’d be willing to spend like [10X what I quoted him] to make that happen.

“H-hello, you may call me Graffiti...”
Disclaimer, Ink was created by comyet/myebi and Cross was created by Jakei/Jael. The only one that I own is little Graffiti. First off, I would like to say that this is in a different multiverse like for most of the ship children made by other people in the fandom. Thank you, and good luck reading this…
Basic Information:
Name - Graffiti (not sure about any nicknames yet for them) Birthday - August 13th Age - 14 years old (human years) Pronouns - they/them Height - Around 1.12m (3ft 8in?) Basically, they’re short
Random Fun Facts:
- They love sweets, especially pocky! - They’re favorite kind of art is creating sceneries in the Doodle Sphere of the different AUs using spray paint. They’re favorite things the paint are either OuterTale or the scene when everyone reaches the surface (in any au). - Even though they were abandoned by Cross, they still love him and would do anything to meet him. - Outside of painting, they love to bake. They’re favorite things to bake are cakes and cupcakes (they usually bake when Ink visits) . - They’re extremely shy and already has a hard time talking to the one person that they know, they really want to meet new people and make friends.
Backstory:
In this multiverse, Ink and Cross have been having many battles. Cross wanting Ink to help him recreate his universe but because Ink told him that he couldn’t bring back the dead, Cross beings to fight Ink out of anger and somewhat betrayal after all the hope Cross had. Many battles had passed and their final battle was the largest and most dangerous out of all of them. While Ink used his paintbrush to create ink and Cross slicing it in half, something went wrong and they created some type of being… Yup, it was little Graffiti. To say the least they were both shocked and stopped the battle.
Graffiti’s soul wasn’t a complete soul since they were created by a mistake (also, considering Ink doesn’t really have a soul and Cross having a half monster half human soul… yeah). For one, it was much smaller than a normal soul would be, it’s also even more delicate than any other soul. Ink added some type of “barrier” around the soul in order to protect it and make it less breakable. Cross didn’t want to accept the fact that Ink and him were able to create a small child by mistake and not rebuild his universe, so he returns to his own universe while leaving Ink alone with Graffiti.
Since Ink has to protect the multiverse, he didn’t have any time to raise a child on his own, and he didn’t believe Cross would help him with raising Graffiti. This ended up with Graffiti being alone for most of their life with Ink coming once in a while to help raise them while Cross avoided them all together.
Personality:
Because Graffiti was basically raised in isolation, they never had contact with anybody else except for Ink which created their shy personality. This also causes Graffiti to become jumpy and skittish at times. There are times when Ink allows Graffiti to join him in the Doodle Sphere to see what other people are like in other universes. Graffiti fell in love with the Doodle Sphere when they went there, seeing all the different AUs and the same people, but aren’t the same (if that makes any sense).
Graffiti is a very caring person, even though they’ve never meet anyone else besides one of their dads, they want to see everything kind in everyone that they see while they view the different AUs.
Appearance/Outfit:
Ink created their outfit mostly based off of Cross’ outfit so Graffiti wouldn’t forget about him even though they may never meet each other. Their outfit consists of a large white hoodie with gray fur along the edge of the hood and gray at the end of the sleeves and bottom of the hoodie (they never take the hood off). They also have black basketball shorts that go past their knees with white cross “belts” at the bottom of the pant legs. Graffiti wears one white belt around their waste while the other belt hangs across their legs and goes near the middle part of their shorts that holds their respirator (gas mask). They have white boots that have brown cloth at the top and have a platform on the bottom to give them some height (they’re really short…). Graffiti wears a brown scarf that is “ripped” at the bottom and has white crosses on the back. Graffiti wears a dark teal turtleneck shirt under their jacket.
Graffiti has a splotch of red paint/ink under their right eye, similar to Cross’ scar. They normally have their right eye socket being a red star while their left eye socket is blue (normal shaped). Like Ink, they’re eye sockets changed depending on their emotions:
(Yes, I know I forgot to draw their paint mark on the emotion chart, I’m too tired to go back and fix that since I just finished writing this essay.) Powers/Abilities:
They’re magic, simply put, is closer to Ink’s rather than Cross’. They have spray cans that create red ink/paint, which they can manipulate like Ink can create ink from his paintbrush. Since Graffiti is a gentle soul, they wouldn’t hurt anybody, they usually would get ink on their opponent (if they ever have to because well, they don’t really have any contact with anybody) and create some type of chain from it. Creator’s Note: I DID IT! Okay, so this ended up longer than I thought it was going to be, but, whatever. Anyways, for those who have read through all of this, I am sorry. I didn’t think I wrote so much at first, but when I began to look through it and edit it before I posted it, I realized “geez, I write a lot”. May be habits from English classes to add more detail into what I write, so maybe that’s why. OR, maybe because I love my OC too much and had to give it all the love I could uwu. Anyways, now I gotta write some character info for Cahya (my AfterDeath child) since I finished with their full body sketch! Thank you all for reading this, essay? >w< Much love~
hey look, it’s undertale sans
