can ppl quit it with the “the world is going to end in twelve years!” nonsense? that’s not how climate change fucking works, twelve years is just another point-of-no-return for how and where things will change if emissions continue, and the casualties of climate change (some of which are already happening) are 100% preventable with proper cooperation and support (not that people in power are actually providing that tho)

just like, the world’s not going to end, it’s just going to get worse and continue getting worse unless we do something about it
