5) umm I think I'm not craving any food as I ate not so long ago but I'm looking forward to my favourite dinner that I've been having exactly the same since I was 12 years old, yellow peas soup! and speaking of drinks, I'm craving pomegranate flavoured energy drink that's only in supermarket far from my home :(
6) coffee or tea: TEA always I absolutely despise coffee and the smell of it makes me nauseous and gives me a headache (fun fact same thing happens with gasoline, alcohol smell, cigarette smoke, most perfume especially flower smells or citrus smells and things like flavoured shower gels or shampoos or deodorants, I only ever get non flavorued ones!)

I AM KICKING AND SCREAMING (internally) OML. (spoiler warnings??? Iām currently in the middle of chapter 60)
Iāve just gotten to the fifties in the manga chapters and AAAAA. Itās been SUCH a long time since I got THIS EXCITED over a fantasy series. All the fantasy books Iāve read seem to get repetitive lately and there are just so many tropes everywhere. Not that I hate them or anything, but they all just feel kinda shallow. (And I hate to make generalizations. Please note this is just my personal experience).
But WHA? I was drawn in by beautiful art and the world building from the start, but now I feel an obsession growing EEE.
First of all, I ADORE THE CHARACTERS. ALL OF THEM. Usually thereās only one or two characters thatāll stand out to me in a piece of media, but here? I HAVE REASON TO LOVE THEM ALL. They all feel like people with distinct personalities, flaws, likable quailities, and changes. I know thatās what all well written characters are supposed to be like, but I just feel myself caring about everyone or understanding them in a way I havenāt with other stories in a while. Like my perception of Luluci after chapter 49. Or Agott, Richeh, and Euini during the second test. I just love the characterization and I need to get my head straight before I can actually describe the specific. Iām sorry š
And the WORLD BUILDING. I LOVE how flawed the system is, but itās realistically so, given the nature of magic in this world. I can clearly imagine authorities defining things as forbidden magic and I can understand the reasoning behind it. Any conflict regarding the system feels like something that would genuinely happen if it all was real. Itās all taken seriously. Like that scene where Olruggio creates fire that isnāt physically harmful but decides to scrap the spell. The four girls ask why so he and Qifrey describes the harm it could cause. Ugh Iām not good at summaries, but I feel like that moment, the questions asked, and the reasoning given, is like a metaphor that can be applied to their whole world as well. Itās when you genuinely consider something and actually think about the implications. I feel like thatās why that scene stuck out to me. Edit: OMG WAIT. THEY BROUGHT THE FLAME BACK AND CHANGED SO IT WAS INSIDE A CRYSTAL. āHe didnāt give up on it after all. He searched for ways around the spellās shortcomings. He made it work!ā I sense a theme here that can be reflected in other aspects of this story hehe. UGH, I ADORE THESE DETAILS WITH DEEPER MEANINGS.
Let me just talk about Custas real quick. I didnāt even realize heād return as a character but HOLY SHIT. I AM SO GLAD HE DID. I LOVE HIS CHARACTER. AND HIS ANGER TOWARDS COCO AND TARTAH MADE SO MUCH SENSE??? Like ofc it wasnāt their fault and the situation is way more complex than that, but from looking at it from Custasās perspective, I can see where he was coming from and his frustration with witches, especially given his living circumstances. AAA.
ALSO AGOTT. I know she got a lot of hate and stuff but I also LOVE HER CHARACTER. (Help Iām saying that way too much but I seriously mean it each time). I actually find her so relatable and I just donāt feel like elaborating on that at the moment lol. (Also I did not understand all the Arkco shipping, but now I can see itā)
UGH. I canāt get my thoughts together to properly describe my appreciation and do this series justice, so Iām just gonna leave it off at: I love it. The writing is phenomenal. WHA is making me turn into a mess of hand genstures and squealing.
Bro I think Iāve heard so many artist describe the struggle of drawing hands to the point where younger me went āalright, Iāll do a shit ton of studies,ā
and now I can just pose my left hand and then draw it in like a minute or two. Heck, all those hands were drawn whenever I had extra time in the mornings at school. āØ

Iāve been saying hands way too much. I feel like there should be some sort of synonym for it.

This was inspired by all the stylized pieces where I've been utterly in awe of the colors and how all the hues fit together almost perfectly.
I find it especially interesting when a color like, idk, gray, is used as a highlight. In most situations, gray wouldn't be a highlight color, but because of the other colors in the scene, gray fits to represent the light.
It works because the context surrounding the color supports it.
And I believe that's the key part. The interpretation of a color is affected by the colors around it. Yk those illusions where they show a color next to black and another color next to white (or some variation of that) but they turn out to be the same color? That's exactly what I mean by the context of a color.
That aspect is what I really wanted to explore with my art. Like how a fully saturated tint of blue would appear vibrant or even glow next to gray (why do I keep bring up gray Imao. The irony- younger me avoided gray at all costs).
Now ofc mine just ended up looking mildly like rainbow vomit, but you can observe how light yellow and a dark purplish blue (complimentary) were used for the lights and shadows, plus some teals, purples, and greens for the transitioning colors.
Lol, I feel like this'll slightly change my rendering style from now on but we'll see. This entire drawing was just me messing around. Even the art style was just a new experiment. With that tiny stick ass nose, small mouth, and bold eyes, it reminds me of a doll.
y'all know the drill. It's a nice design I may perhaps use for an OC, but that just means never.
