This is a big master post for any and all newcomers to this blog.
Hi! I'm RandomDragons, or RD for short. I'm an artist and writer who also make animatics on YouTube, either about stuff I like or the original characters/projects I've written. This blog doesn't really have a set goal or anything, I just kind of want to do whatever I want lol.
Most of what I do online centers original projects or fan works for various media franchises. My original projects are not technically "finished" or available to the public, but I plan on making them all official some day! Until they are completed, you can learn about them through my illustrations, animatics, or "teaser" posts I will put on here.
For easy understanding, here's a rundown of the Projects you'll see me tease online:
DRAGON EYE: a fantasy project! If you see people with magic lights around them, or people with human and animal features, it's definitely DE-related. It's been in the works since 2015, although I'm planning on giving it a huge overhaul in the next few years. Anything I post about it can be found in the #dragon eye and #de tags!
TWO-FACED: sort of my own take on a dystopian world. If you see characters with blank faces and blacked out eyes, They're from TF (and the faces are masked. They wear masks). Work for this one started in late 2019-early 2020. Any related posts can be found in the #tf and #two-faced tags.
FAREWELL TO BROKEN HEARTS: half romance half break-up tale. This one follows two exes and their lives during and after their relationship falls apart. If you see a girl with long black hair and dressed predominately in blue, or a guy associated with predominately red, that's the main protagonists of FTBH. This is the most recent project, starting in 2021, but has quickly become one of my favorites to work on. It can be found in the #ftbh and #farewell to broken hearts tags.
I also engage in plenty of fandom content as well. My largest ongoing fan project is Hazbin Hotel: Redemption of the Light, a rewrite/headcanon/theory minefield for Hazbin Hotel. The first and second parts of the series, Death to Paradise and Vox Populi, Vox Dei is available to read right now! My animatic series Roo's Wrath is also part of this rewrite project, if you know me from there. The fanfic will catch up to these videos eventually, and continue the story beyond them!
Also also, as I said before, I have a YouTube channel where I have been posting animatics for these projects for over 5 years! Not to mention I have a second channel with even more stuff! YT has been a passion project of mine for years and it's the best place to get content for all of these projects.

You are not entitled to someone’s time and energy because you like the things they make. You are not entitled to them engaging with you. You are not entitled to them agreeing with you.
Enjoy the thing they chose to share with you. Appreciate the work that went into it. Show support if you’re feeling kind.
But if your response is to keep showing up demanding attention, demanding content, complaining when they do anything you like less, bringing drama to their doorstep, demanding their opinions align with yours, and trying to guilt trip or concern troll them into engaging with you, and they don’t like that, the problem is not that the creator is “mean.”
The problem is that you decided for whatever reason that other person’s boundaries and the notion of giving them basic respect were optional.
The most underrated skill on the goddamn internet is hearing the word no or seeing something you don’t like and choosing to move on with your life.
