Tumblr, this is a play with an unconventional format that forces the audience to change their perspectives metaphorically and literally. It's about oppressed women coming together to enjoy life despite their trappings. It's about women's searches for purpose and meaning in a life dominated by men.

It has toxic yuri. Mentally ill women who are not stereotyped as crazy lunatics. A lady chases her husband with a shotgun for shits and giggles. A lady does a ridiculous burlesque performance in the middle of a fundraiser rehearsal for a children's charity.

This play is funny, feminist, and extremely gay, and it was written in the 70s but feels like it could've come out in 2012.

It's SO fucking good.
