Did I just discover that ChatGPT can create images? Yes.
Am I going to say why it took me so long to figure that out? No.
Did I go absolutely wild creating images for my Ace Combat characters instead of rewriting my AC5 fanfic chapters? You bet I did.
These are all based on my version of the story, so if you don't recognize some, it's because they're original characters, but from left to right, you have: Genette, Blaze, Chopper, Nagase, Grimm, Cassie, Snow, Bartlett, Pops, Andersen, Harling, Nikanor, Perrault, Hamilton, Major, Jens Geller, Henri Rald, and Waldemarr Rald.
I'll post my other characters soon!
they are attacked and a fight breaks out
their plane gets damaged
they land inside a stadium
Welcome back Chopper's death scene!
“Is that the Arkbird???”
Played up to mission 13 of Ace Combat Zero and... all I gotta say is damn, Pixy. I initially picked this game up because I saw people comparing Rusty AC6 to Pixy in terms of narrative and I do see where that comes from now, and I adore the execution?
Pixy chiding PJ for his belief that this brutality they're enacting will at all end this, his reaction to the reckless and frankly, absurdly cruel destruction of a city, and the fact he's just tired of it. War is a zero sum game about powers crushing everything about the other underfoot... and then the flash happens and everything changes. He gives in, finds his reason to fight (of which I don't have a strong guess for yet), and turns on the player character.
I think it really sells that he's broken but believes in something, because we have him at his lowest (made exceptionally clear to the player), and then his reaction to an untenable tragedy grants him resolve. Resolve enough to turn on the Demon Lord, the god of the skies he helped create. Very excited to see where things go. Love friendly characters who are turned by terrible events.
So I took a break from editing my AC5 fanfic and made the cinnamon roll meme chart for the characters in my ace combat saga. And yes, Pixy is my only sinnamon roll. You can't change my mind about this.
@bungerc0re I saw your tags and decided you were right, so I edited the chart.

Tossing around an idea of writing a new story about the Razgriz before they were the Razgriz and their stories (and antics) during school. Even created a cover. What do y'all think? Should I go for it or no?
So, with the addition of AC7 to the overall lore, how would you go about retooling your own verse to accomodate AC7’S plot and characters? (If you were going to do so at all, that is).
Really interested to see how The Banks and Co would play a part (and what members of their ever growing family get involved in the shitshow that is the Lighthouse War).
I haven't played AC7 and it doesn't fit in with my story line from the YouTube videos I've watched (although I'm rewriting it so much, I could probably tweak things a bit to make it work). I did consider having a chapter in the Razgriz Mini Stories of the Osean president at the time of the Lighthouse War trying to get the Razgriz involved and fighting but they're saying no because they just got done fighting a war or two, and want to spend time with their kids (and you know, a dead significant other they wasn't actually dead). It would involve some sneaky political traps and some (well more like a lot of) snark from the Razgriz about it all. Still considering it, but for now I won't be adding AC7 into the mix :)
The way Snow says “All right, then. I’ll try placing my bets on you, captain.” when you tell him that hatred doesn’t always have to lead to more hatred makes me so fucking emotional for some reason. The music combined with the sincerity of his performance makes me tear up irl

Headcanon: The Spirit of Ice’s Ace Pilots
When General Marasco supplied the Spirit of Ice for what he knew would be her last voyage as a Mantle ship, he spared no expense and held no favors back for crewing and readying her. As such, the best pilots in the Mantle Air Force at the time, men hardened by a decade of war in the air against Vacuo and Vale, found their way aboard to lead her dozens of fighter craft.
A brief summery of each ace is below, compiled from their flight histories during the war;
Mobius 1: The Ribbon. A well-rounded pilot who commands Mobius Squadron, the Spirit’s general purpose flight group. Adept at most roles but excels at high-risk missions
Razgriz 1: Blaze. A stoic, somber man, head of the Razgriz Squadron, the Spirit’s “stealth” unit. Asymetrical combat, deep-penetration missions, and deniable actions are his game.
Galm 1: The Demon Lord. Also known as Cipher, he leads Galm Team, a two-man flight with more kills than many of the other members of the Spirit’s compliment combined, including dozens of enemy aces, and entire squadrons in some cases.
Garuda 1: The Angel. Talisman, the protector. Leads Garuda Team, the angelic side to Galm’s demonic, providing aid, ground support, and civilian evacuation protection.
Strider 1: Three Strikes. Trigger, the mad-dog. A former con given another chance at redemption by flying for the Air Force, he leads Strider Squadron, which handles the long range strategic strikes and assaults for the Spirit.
