A reminder that -
Olly draws magic (primarily?) with his right hand but seems to write with his left. It's one of those instances where the witch world is being unaccommodating and mirroring real life. That he writes with his left regardless makes me think he's probably a bit if not fully ambidextrous. And for it to be Olly out of everyone isn't at all surprising - he's the one who does much physical work with his hands and we've seen him use both hands when casting magic.

Can someone help me out with this - do we learn anything else about Caeror's death from book one apart from "supposedly threw himself off a cliff"? I did a cursory check, didn't see anything. If anyone remembers, or remembers around what point in the book I should look, I would be very thankful
Have you read Strength Of the Few yet?
Yes I have! I should have made that clear. The info I'm looking for is connected to things we learn in book two

I appreciate the Riyo and Noerde fight so much for the vicious hand-to-hand part because still so few anime have girls/women get physical like that. More often than not they have an ability or weapon that leaves them in a more passive/long range position. This one didn't shy away from it one bit, and they beautifully extended it for the anime (translation to different media and all that).
The Frankenstein theme reminds me of The Magnus Archives theme

Is there any chance that when Remlin went to apologize to Zanka they placed another - a proper - charm on him for the one damage reduction that he should have gotten?
The LAZARUS dub is the perfect example of how NOT to write dialogue.
While the show brings up some interesting ideas (general premise; the cult) the writing is so bland, so lacking in subtlety or layers, - you can imagine what all this does to the characters - and the dialogue is the final nail in coffin.

I will NEVER not fuck with women using a traditionally masculine title. Tell me more about that girl that's also a prince.
Reread time! I take annotating very seriously 👆
