🕯// The Best Version ___________________________ One of my favourite things is to see people when they are the best versions of themselves. Not perfect versions but the best. When people are the best versions of themselves I can’t get enough of it! It is inspiring and motivating. When they are kind, warm-hearted, intelligent, engaged, confident, creative, sincere, knowledgeable, speaking and addressing things that need change, challenging bad ideas, standing up for others, people in support of or leading something positive, something good. People who are free and able to express the best version of themselves the one they’d have always been if other things, people, insecurities or life events hadn’t kept them from being who they always were. 2nd harvest of Golden Sunrise 🌅// I picked these all green about a month ago before leaving when I came back they’d all ripened as I’d hoped and taste delicious. I’ve just harvested a few more and counted the remaining tomatoes on one plant. There will be roughly 300 tomatoes we get in total from this one little seed. It’s pretty amazing. It hasn’t been hard to look after once established, which was roughly a month from seed I just put coffee grounds directly into the soil around the main stem as fertiliser and watered it every few days, if there’s no rain. I threw some dried leaves on top of the soil in the planter to keep moisture in and didn’t water it for 3 weeks just relied on the rain and it’s been perfectly happy. I have pruned it a few times as the plant gets too overgrown and can stop light reaching the actual fruits but other than that it’s pretty easy and so rewarding to walk outside and pick your own fruit straight off a vine. I’ve also rooted some of the offcuts and planted them so now I have a few more extra brand new plants just growing. I’ve been interested and excited about growing fruit and vegetables for so many years now.
