Kim Keever
“Miniature topographies inside 200-gallon fish tanks, based on traditional landscape paintings. Keever fills the tanks with water once he’s sculpted and placed the miniatures, and colored lights and pigments create dense, atmospheric environments. He views his works as an evolution of the landscape tradition and deliberately acknowledges the conceptual artifice.”

Crowded House, 1988
Little bit of Crowded House history: During the filming of the music video for “World Where You Live”, Neil Finn’s former Split Enz band mate, Noel Crombie, helped create the effect of the miniature house flying away out of Neil’s hands.
For any Crowded House fans less familiar with Split Enz, Noel was the creative mastermind in Split Enz, designing costumes and stage sets, and directing music videos …so naturally, he was there to help Neil with one of the more complex videos, out of his earliest ones in Crowded House. Noel would also be the one to design the set for Crowded House’s Farewell to the World concert in 1996.

Ian Curtis photographed with Robert Smith & Simon Gallup from The Cure, the only known photo of them together.
Ian is second to right, Simon next to him beside the poster and Robert is sitting down holding the cup
Most likely March 1979, when Joy Division opened for The Cure
