~Mk. is the Houston poet that shakes things up. As his wind and persona make their way around the counter culture of the city, his performances become more personalized.

Recently (3/8/13) The Mother Fucking Wind performs at Houston's live music hot bed, AvantGarden. The two-floors of the building we reserved for Gabe Bravo's (The Best Drummer in Houston)and ~Mk. did a set on both floors.

Mutulu Kafele’s classical magic-jazz poetry collection is ready.  "HEARTS, STARS, SQUARES," hits the catwalks on KickStarter.com. ~Mk. is considered what most would say a “Jive” poet. A term coined by his jazz-bassist friend who was describing the exuberant body movements of a saxophonist. “He has moves for every note, he is so jive.” A whole lot of Jive Ju-Ju love is conjured up in the phenomenal "HEARTS STARS SQUARES".
