To All The Palestinians:

Y’all I really wish I could do more but I’m broke. And most Americans - at least those who care about the cause - are broke. And I mean literally broke. Like account in the red broke. And make no mistake, that’s by design. The system is set up so that the most empathetic can’t act on that empathy. I wish I could donate to y’all, but I don’t have money. When I get some I will. There’s this running expression on Twitter about how we’re all essentially passing the same $20 dollars back and forth in mutual aid campaigns. I’d say it applies here too. I wish the people who donated to big charities and organizations would donate to gofundmes instead. Maybe I’m wrong, but I’ve always felt like these donations would be more impactful this way. As a lot of charities don’t use their funds solely for the people they’re supposed to be helping.

The sneak peek is irritating. This wouldn’t be much of a transition for Rhaenyra. She’s been raised and trained to rule her entire life. She’s ruled Dragonstone since she was 16. There might be a slight jump but she most likely would’ve been handling a lot of this day to day stuff anyway. She would’ve probably took on a lot of Aemma’s responsibilities after her death until Alicent became queen. Furthermore, she would’ve been given other duties as heir that Viserys had offloaded onto her. We literally saw her at the Small Council meetings. Daeron should be killed but I doubt she’ll do that and it’s also not likely to look great. Tessarion isn’t really large enough to be a threat. If she does that then she’d have to kill Alicent just to be sure she won’t turn.

Alicent has no right to be mad about Otto’s death. He would’ve had to die simply because he initiated this entire plot, AND imprisoned all the nobles who remained loyal to Rhaenyra. Also, she can be sad but I can’t believe she’d be feeling betrayed by it considering how her father abused her and used her. Let’s please be serious.

Why did they make her miss the first hit with the blade. So annoying and unneeded. They just be doing shit. I also find it so dumb that Rhaenyra didn’t know how to wield a sword. It’s never explicitly stated in the books, but it doesn’t make a lot of sense. She was heir for 20 years and Viserys knew that she’d have to command armies. Dragonback isn’t enough, because she’s defenseless on the ground and in castles. She’d also just be respected more if she knew how to wield a sword. Furthermore, her grandmother knew how to wield a sword to some degree, and then there’s, of course, the OG: Visenya. I also feel like Rhaenys II knew how to fight. She had armor and she was said to be no stranger to battle. I don’t think that only referred to her being a rider. She was the assumed heir apparent as well at one point so it would’ve made sense for her to learn too. Point is; there was a precedent for women fighters and something of a need for her to learn how to defend herself.

Yes to Rhaenyra wielding Dark Sister, but I think they’re severely underscoring the emotional weight of this moment and the betrayal that occurred. Otto was probably like a second father to her. He was hand her whole life until her father died, and(in the show) her best friend’s father. This isn’t something she should be expected to just do. There’s still so many questions that need to be answered as well for her. First and foremost being: why?

No he didn’t! Did Larys kidnap Otto and keep him UNDER the Black Cells? Is that what he’s left for Daemon? Is this where he’s been the entire time?😭 I also just realized that they’re gonna have to find a way to get Larys back to the Red Keep

I would’ve loved to see Rhaenyra fight tbh. I’m confused about Alicent and Helaena. They’re not actually trying to escape are they? There wasn’t really a point to that. And having them two as hostages would give them a better chance of getting Aemond and Aegon to surrender. Also, I’m still angry about Helaena. She clearly hadn’t descended into madness due to the death of Jahaerys, so why haven’t we seen her on Dreamfyre? We’ve seen like two short clips of Dreamfyre. Mind you: “She loved her dragon, Dreamfyre, and according to a semi-canon source, taking to the skies on Dreamfyre was Helaena's greatest joy in life.” - AWOIAF per “Fire And Blood” and GRRM’s blog that isn’t a blog. She has no reason to go mad at all now as Maegor doesn’t exist. Can we get her to defect or something please? Do something with her character! Aegon was never nice to her anyway

Also, you can clearly see the size difference between Caraxes and Syrax is negligible here. They’re almost standing at the same height. So why doesn’t that seem to translate when they’re being flown?

Edit: they put us closer and now you can see they’re obviously different sizes. The neck widths especially. Annoying.

Rhaenyra, executing Ser Lorent is a bad move. If you were going to do that, you should’ve done it when he first offered. Now it makes you look indecisive and weak.

Yeah I knew he liked Alicent with how much he was always baiting her. Mind you, this man is on his 4th wife and has 29 children. But he’s really lost his mind here. It looks like he’s trying to force himself on to her. Would love some Helaena character development rn. I mean she is technically in charge. She could burst in and take his head. Maybe she should bring Dreamfyre out the pit and have her stay at the castle.
