My TRR/TRH Headcanon AU Characters’ Faceclaims: The Rys Family (Liam, Erin, and Libby)

Hey guys! So if you’ve been following me and my writings for quite some time, you’re probably already familiar with my favorite pixel royal family. 😁 for nearly two years of being in this community, I think this is the first time I’m formally introducing them. Haha!

I know I haven’t written as much for them lately, and I miss them. For now though, I have decided to try giving them faces to hopefully help with my future writings too.

I was just going to make a regular aesthetic mood board, but I was having so much fun that I ended up making them their own social media dummy accounts each - an IG Profile page to be exact - which you will find below. (Good lord, I fell down another rabbit hole. 🐰 #noregrets)

This mood board format was somewhat inspired by Cordonians Undercover (a big shout-out to my amazing friends over there: @the-soot-sprite @zaffrenotes - love ya both! 🤍🤍) cos I know they use the social media apps as the main stuff. Meet My Favorite Pairing

So… I think it’s pretty obvious who my favorite OTP is even if I haven’t written for them in a while now. It’s none other than Liam x Erin of course!  I was inspired to also create my own mood board, so there you go!

Ideal date: They enjoy some long walks and a good picnic by the beach, or even at the palace’s garden maze. They even revisit the Forgotten Falls on certain special occassions. Fine dining is also in the books as inspired by their very first date at the Ramsford Estate.

A show they watch together: Ever since they got married, they’ve influenced each other to watch what the other was watching. Erin enjoys American sitcoms/series like FRIENDS, HIMYM, Criminal Minds, and even The Vampire Diaries; moreover, she‘s also a sucker for Korean dramas. Liam would watch these with her (especially during their downtime), the way Erin would join him in watching documentaries (from political history down to mystery crime cases) and educational channels equivalent to NatGeo or something.

Their favorite meal to share: Any kind of pasta or noodles, souvlakiand some desserts

Favorite thing about each other…

Physically:

Liam on Erin: He loves her eyes the most especially the way it crinkles into crescents when she smiles. He takes delight with the way her on-fleek eyebrows furrow while she carefully analyzes a situation, or whenever she’s in deep thoughts. He’s crazy about her lips, as well as the curves of her hips. Those are just some of his favorites, but he adores every bit of his queen.

Erin on Liam: She loves his tall and lean physique. One of her favorites would be his toned arms where she can snuggle herself in as she pleases. She loves running her hands through his thick dark locks, and tracing her fingers on the perfectly contoured corners of his face, especially his tall nose and jawline. Similarly, she loves everything about her king, from head to toe.

Personality:

Liam is expectedly more serious, formal and stoic given his diplomatic training ever since he was young. He’s more reserved with his actions, although he finds himself more at ease with his friends and loved ones. He started opening up some more when he met Erin. He’s also more patient and understanding, and doesn’t lose his cool easily.

Erin is the more carefree one. She’s a people-person, making her approachable to the eyes of others. She’s the mom friend of their gang. She may have a soft, gentle facial feature, but she can get extremely fierce when it comes to protecting the people she loves. She can get pretty sassy at times in her responses. In contrast to Liam’s calm nature, Erin has the tendency to easily fume at times, though she can keep it under control in the eyes of the public.

Who …

Made the first move: Erin, following the event in TRR 1 canon where she kissed him for the first time at the garden maze.

Cooks better: Erin, especially since she is an aspiring chef, and has once dreamed about opening her own restaurant.

Dances better: Liam! Erin’s got two left feet 😂, but she can manage to follow a slow beat with some prompting.

Wakes up first: Liam. He usually lets Erin sleep in some more (especially when she was pregnant with Libby), and he’d always leave her a gentle kiss on the forehead before he goes for a jog, or attend some early work engagement.

Is funnier: Erin. Liam has gotten more in touch with his sense of humor after meeting her.

Is more organized: Liam. Erin has a tendency to misplace things.

Has better taste in music: Erin. She has a wider range of genre, and has expanded Liam’s classical and instrumental music choices to which he has taken delight in.

Is more likely to scream at the sight of a spider: Erin.

Cries more at movies: Erin

Is more likely to steal all the covers at night: Erin

The first to fall in love: I’d say the both of them.

The first to say I love you: Liam

After much thought, I was able to make a list of Korean celebrities whom in my opinion can match the personalities of TRR characters. Similarity in looks are just a bonus though.

안녕!!

I’ve always been loyal to Prince Liam! But since Hyun Bin is one of my bias wreckers.. casting him as Drake Walker would really cut my heart in half!! 😂 I believe he’s the perfect oppa to act as Drake, after watching his recent kdrama “Crash Landing On You”. OMG!!!

As for finding an actress as Riley, I did thought of having Bae Suzy..

But I prefer Nana because I find her visual more unique...

She has more of the “western” look vibe. She reminds me of Kim Tae-hee!

Also, I prefer the potential I guess.. she isn’t known for romcom roles yet since she’s always casted for badass films.

Also the  “chemistry” among the characters especially the love team is something that I’ve also considered. 🤔Nana and Hyun Bin already worked together in a film called “The Swindlers”.. while Daniel and Hyun Bin starred in a 2005 kdrama “Lovely Kim Sam Soon”.

I remember the first time Playchoices released the cover of Perfect Match 2. I really thought it was Damien Nazario on the cover.. only to find out it was Hayden Young..

And so, I decided to make my own version. But of course with the whole gang! This is a painting-in-progress by the way.. I can’t wait to post it when it’s finished!
